DADDY DO-GOODERS: T.I. AND AKON GIVING BACK THIS THANKSGIVING
Celeb dads T.I., Akon, Big Boi, and Ludacris have teamed up with other celebrities for a Thanksgiving charity effort in Atlanta, Georgia. The rappers made charitable contributions yesterday with turkey giveaways and special deliveries to residencies.
T.I. hosted a turkey giveaway at the Carrie Steele-Pitts Home, where hundreds of needy families and senior citizens received donations. The event was especially significant to senior citizens since many recipients were grandparents raising their grandchildren. T.I. along with his foundation, K.I.N.G., was joined by City Council Member C.T. Martin.
Akon also practiced charity by personally delivering turkeys to 300 Atlanta families in need. The effort was in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta. Akon and his foundation, Konfidence, has faithfully given back to the community during the holidays for four consecutive years. This year, each family received a turkey and side dish for Thanksgiving.

Just to add my two cents days later..I agree, anyone besides Akon on BCK. I dated Akon’s DJ for years & know Akon & his family members. His ‘looks’ & music are the better parts of him.
But on topic, giving back is wonderful no matter who does it. But if a picture shows on the screen of an adult, I rather it be someone, male or female, who is easy on the eyes. Luda is cute & intelligent, TI is cute & I love his southern drawl, Akon..ummm great job in giving back.
My family is Trinidadian, too, so what! Were you at the concert? Do you know her personally? Get over it! You’re getting WAY to into this and him…are you one of his “baby moms” or something?
I ALREADY knew the story before you took a walk down “memory lane”, thanks! No one should be with a CHILD dancing in that matter. Even if she was 18 how old is Akon, again?….NASTY!!! MY OPINION. She didn’t look 25+, so he should have picked an older person…shoot she didn’t even look a day over 18.

One of his baby mamas? lol. Please say that you’re not really getting riled up over this. The exclamation marks and words in all caps seem to say that you are. Since your family are “Trinidadian” and you “knew the story before” I “took a walk down “memory lane”” I would’ve expected you to at least come with the correct story in the first place. Your statements imply that I’m defending Akon when in fact most of my statement was in reference to the child and the incident. Am I a fan of Akon? Not really but some of his songs are cool. Would I defend him if I knew he danced with an under aged individual knowingly? No. However it is important to remember that Akon is an entertainer, entertainers often invite members of the audience to join them during certain numbers. It is the responsibility of the club owners to ensure that the age limit requirement is met by all who wish to enter.

If you don’t know Akon or the young girl, MOVE ON. If you really look at my first post this was ALL about his non attractive looks and you put your two sense in to a reply that was directed at Meela. You got upset by my posts…don’t worry honey it’s obvious.

After BCK told us he had something like 11-to-15 kids…hmmm all I see When I see him is multiple baby mamas no concern for birth control kids on top of kids that probably won’t all know each other….

That’s my point, the fact that “anyone” is giving back to the world is such a beautiful thing.
So when you read about him not being cute enough just makes you shake your head.
Beauty is also in the eye of the beholder, Ludacris easy on the eyes. I don’t know about T.I. and his new veneers, can you say Mr. Ed!
FYI – Akon did not seek out a 14 year old to drag on stage, she lied about her age.

Dude runs a reputable organization that is doing amazing work!
T.I. can not seem to stay out of jail but yet he is being praised, that’s the problem with the world today.
No one said T.I. is better than Akon. The subject in question is looks. I’d rather see Ludacris and T.I. then Akon.
Akon has just as many kids, if not more, as T.I. does just with more women. Not one is above the other. Jail doesn’t make you better or worse then anyone else…it’s just bad choices and decisions, which we all have. For some people it costs them their freedom others their credibility. I remember that issue Akon had with that 14 year old girl from Trinidad, I believe (BAD CHOICE).
She wasn’t 14 she was 16 and he didn’t know she was underage because she snuck out her parents home and in the club by lying about her age.
I’m sorry how old is Akon? I’ll wait………exactly! He’s too damn old to be with a 14/16 whatever… she was a TEENAGER. Nasty! How do WE know AKkon didn’t know? ’cause he said so, oh please.

Do you know exactly what happened? Because I do. I live in Trinidad and Tobago and that is where the incident occured. He called someone on stage to dance with him during one of this songs. No ONE would’ve guessed how old she was because Club Zen was an 18 and over club, she didn’t look 16 and the outfit she wore to the concert didn’t help. He only found out AFTER her picture was taken and posted in the newspaper and her parents, friends and other ppl who knew her recognized her. She was notorious for sneaking into clubs and lying to her parents.
