she’s too light to be black and she doesnt even act nor look black. so she has to be latina. she should be put in the latina category. she has that exotic look
Do you know who author Elizabeth Atkins is? Look her up, she looks like an average blue eyed blond white woman but she’s not.
hello my like u song swag it out!!!!!!!!
She is to light to be black, We should not lie to ourselves let put her on the white category
Zendaya doesn’t even look black to me. she looks Hawaiian or latina. She’s beautiful though
There’s no mistaking that this child is Black–hell she looks like a light-skinned Keke Palmer to me. Anyway, you go Z! Keep doing your thing.
She looks like Cassie(younger ofcourse)
SHE IS SUCH A PRETTY LIL LADY……
Good job Zendaya! One of the great performers coming out of Oakland!
I thought she was part black and Asian like Cassie.
Why did my comment never post? Was it because I complained about the Macy’s ad?
I can believe that she is Dutch, she has a very European looking face to me
If it wasn’t for her nose and her hair texture, I wouldn’t know she was part African at all
Anyways, I love the soft tone of her voice. She has a good personality and I can see that she’s talented… good luck to her
Hope she doesn’t eventually turn into another Lohan or Cyrus
She is very pretty, not really feeling the song, but zendaya reminds me of Rnb snger cassie.
I 100% agree with all three points you’ve made.
No, she’s black and Dutch. I posted a picture of her parents but apparently BCK didn’t let it stay up.
That’s nice to know. Dutch as in the Netherlands (Holland) or the Netherland Antilles? If the NA; which island? Thank you.
Her parents are Claire and Kazembre. Their photo is the San Francisco Chronicle http://blog.sfgate.com/missbigelow/2010/03/23/the-plays-the-thing-cal-shakes-jonathan-moscone/
Really, is she black? She looks hispanic. Nice video.
Yes she is “black” her mother is white and her father is jamaican (black).
she is mexican and black. her mom is mexican and her dad is black & Zendaya is actually an african name.
Zendaya’s mother is German and her father is African she is not part Mexican neither is Madison.
She really does look Hispanic but she is actually part black (father) and part white (mother). Her name means ‘to give thanks.’
No, Selena Gomez looks Hispanic not this girl.
Excactly!
@Karlisa, the above Sherley is not the Real Sherley. I have chosen not to comment on this post as it did not interest me. Just FYI.
*The Real Sherley*
Thanks Sherely but this is realy annoying me somebody used “Karlisa” on the mindless behavior post too thats why Im sticking wth my Avatar so yall will know if its the Real Me.
And Zendaya is gorgeous. Black people are the most multi varied folks on earth when it comes to looks.

I really like Zendaya soo much she is funny. But just lookin at her i would not think she was black, when they told me i was like whaaat? guess thats why she has that exotic look
Zendaya is cute! I’m glad I looked a the video cause I didn’t know what she was doing in that picture.
Go Zendaya…I love it and I love her. I am loving that so many Black kids are getting opportunities on tv, music, movies. I havent seen this many since the 90s..It’s so great.
