Last week it was rumored that 11-year-old Willow Smith got a temporary “TISA” tattoo. Floyd Mayweather recently became infuriated with 50 Cent for taking his 13-year-old son Koraun to get a tattoo tweeting, “What the h*** is wrong with @50cent got my son hanging out getting tattoos at 2:30am on a school night.” Fiddy’s reply was, “Man @FloydMayweather mad at me I took his son to the tattoo spot. He’s 13 he’s a big boy MONEY TEAM.”

J.R. Martinez and girlfriend Diana Gonzalez show love for one another and their unborn child at the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards held at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California on Sunday, January 29th, 2012. Martinez and Gonzalez announced their expectancy in December.

When asked about naming the couple’s newest addition J.R. said, “We won’t name her Apple Cider or Salami. It won’t be our favorite dish or our favorite getaway or favorite car or show. It will be something really close and personal to us that feels like we’re giving something to her that is very special. She’ll probably come out and we’ll be like, ‘That’s the name.’ We have narrowed it down to two names and we agree on it, which is good. I hear that traditionally, when it comes to the name picking, that’s when the disagreements occur. But I think it will be a nice flow.”

Kenny Smith is a sports analyzer and proud father of 17-year-old Kayla Brianna. Smith recently sat down with the Orlando Sentinel to talk basketball and fatherhood.

On fatherhood and the boyfriend situation.

“The funny thing about that is, I have a lot of college basketball players I know and a lot of high school basketball players I know from AAU. So the first thing I get was, ‘hey coach Kenny I saw your daughter’ and I was like ‘wait a minute.’ I don’t know if I like that right now, but it comes with the territory. I always knew I’d have to have a shotgun, I just didn’t know what year I’d have to purchase it.”

Kayla’s contract with Interscope Records and debut single “If You Love Me.”

“I’m super excited…I told her you’ve done it through talent. You weren’t a YouTube sensation, you weren’t on any Idol shows, your talent kicked the door in and you got a record deal. I told her I don’t think you understand how difficult that is because I’m not that famous to where my fame could get you a record deal. There’s many more famous people than I am who have children that sing.”

This year’s basketball MVP.

“Right now? Wow. Kevin Durant would be the MVP right now. He’s been the most valuable player because his team has been the most successful and the most consistent where LeBron James and Kobe [Bryant] are right behind him. But the Lakers haven’t played the kind of basketball that the Heat or the Oklahoma City Thunder has played. In terms of individual statistics those three guys are far and above everyone else, but I can only vote for one.”

NBA star Ray Allen and his wife Shannon welcomed their fourth child into the world on Wednesday, January 25, 2012. The couple named their son Wynstan Ryan Allen.

Although some parents select a name for their newborn sporadically, Allen was meticulous when naming his fourth son. Since his other children-Walter Ray III, Walker, and Wynn-had the initials W.R.A., Allen wanted to continue the tradition with his newest addition. Ray says, “We had a lot of advice and a lot of names being said because all of our boys are ‘W.R.A.'”

But why Wynstan? Ray states, “We scoured every ‘W’ name we could. We got down to that day in the hospital and we had our top three or four and we talked about how the nicknames kids would give him and kind of what life would be like if we gave him something crazy and what we would call him. Probably what gave that name top seed was the fact that our last son born was Wynn. Our first two sons are ‘Wal,‘ so this was, ‘Wy.’ That’s kind of how we rationalized it.”

Charles Worth, a.k.a. Chip Tha Ripper, is a new rap artist who is making headway in the music industry. His newest project Tell Ya Friends is expected to be a success and his single “Hyyer” has already earned acclamation. Chip recently sat down with theGrio to talk about his career and role as father to his son Cash.

When asked about influences in the industry Chip said, “I grew up on everything. 50 Cent, Kanye, Jay-Z, Bun-B. I’m pretty modern. In the Midwest you were exposed to every coast, and my style reflects that. As long as it was good, I was bumpin’ it.” The young rapper first realized that his time as an artist had come when Kid Cudi asked to feature one of his singles. Charles states, “my brother Kid Cudi came by my crib and wanted to put my song ‘Hyyer’ on his debut. We were expecting it to do well but never to the level of Man on the Moon reached. I mean I was on the same LP with Kanye and Common. It gets no better.”

Although he has experienced much success in his career Chip marks fatherhood as his greatest accomplishment. When asked about his decision to feature Cash on his album’s cover Charles said,  “I was taking a photo of him and it was the first time I used a flash on him. His reaction was priceless and he looked like a grown little man. I felt that had to be on my album cover. But fatherhood is treating me well. Being a dad has changed my approach to each music project, because now I have people who are depending on me. The 9 months he was in his mother’s stomach was the time I went from boy to man.”

While some rappers live apart from the mother of their children Chip and Cash’s mother are a happy couple. As the rapper affirms,  “Yes we are and her name is Fortune. She’s real cool and she’s very supportive of my music.”

Injured actress Halle Berry and her daughter Nahla enjoyed a day at the beach with Halle’s boyfriend Olivier Martinez in Malibu, California on Sunday, January 29, 2012. Halle and Nahla played in the sand. Afterwards, Olivier and Nahla went swinging and bird watching; the two even shared a kiss!

Model Heidi Klum arrived at her children’s Karate studio in Brentwood, California on January 28, 2012 for their regular morning class. After announcing that she and her husband Seal are getting divorced she became an even bigger target for the paparazzi who were lined up to get the shots this morning as she arrived. Heidi was seen still wearing her wedding ring so maybe she is having second thoughts.

In a recent interview with Access Hollywood Seal told Billy Bush that he and Heidi were not divorced. The singer states, “There is nothing to reconcile. We haven’t fallen out. We’re not getting divorced. We’re not even legally separated. We are separated. The reality of the situation is we have grown apart. And so is there a chance of us getting back together? Honestly, Billy, I don’t know. I don’t know the answer to that.”

Although Seal and Heidi have grown apart from each other the two have not neglected to explain the situation to their children. As Seal explains, “We talk to them. We tried to explain, as best we could, what is going on. Just explaining to them that things will be different, you know, without going into too much detail. Things will be different,  but a lot of things won’t change. And the main thing is to make sure that they feel that they’re loved, make sure that they understand that their parents love each other. Make sure that they understand if there are any changes, it has absolutely nothing to do with them. And it won’t change the amount of time – and – in actual fact, it may even improve the amount of time that we spend with them – quality time – because it’s not the amount of time, as you know being a family man yourself, it’s the quality of that time.”

Heidi and Seal have four children together and have been married for seven years. The couple announced their separation earlier this month.
