JILLIAN MICHAELS MAY BE A ‘MOM’ SOON

Fitness Guru and Biggest Loser trainer Jillian Michaels is one step closer to motherhood. The fitness specialist recently told Access Hollywood that she has been matched with a little girl from Haiti. Michaels states, “I’ve been matched with a little girl [from Haiti]. But, I now have to get her home… It could take up to a year to get her home.”

Jillian fell in love with the child after visiting an orphanage in the country. As Michaels explains, “I went over to visit orphanages and I ended up falling in love with this little girl, and by the grace of God, I got matched up with her. So now, it’s just a matter of trying to get her home and anything can happen and fall through or fall apart, so it’s kind of premature for me to say it, but that’s where it’s at. So if it falls apart, you’ll know why I’m like, devastated and not coming out of my house for months.”

Jillian recently announced plans to depart from the Biggest Loser in hopes of having children. If all goes well, the little girl will be Michaels’ first child.

I wonder why it take celebs so long to adopt when I see my friends in the hood who adopt like that. Good luck to her and for people saying here we go again maybe yall should start adopting. Adopt some white kids and change things up a bit.

No one should be able to adopt children just like that. Just like having a child biologically, adopting a child is a serious commitment, that shouldn’t be taken lightly. I’m also assuming that your friends in the hood most likely adopt children through extended family connections or the child has some blood or marriage tie to them. It takes longer when you’re adopting a child that has no ties to you, whether it’s private domestic adoption or international adoption or foster care.

@Tiara, Do NOT bring up Beyonce on a non-Beyonce post. We get enough posts about her.

        I rebuke that statement.

      • PlainMean January 11, 2012 at 4:45 pm

Oh yeah, how could I forget Josephine Baker!
