Brooks recently discussed the joys of motherhood with SOHH saying that being a mom has afforded her the opportunity to appreciate life. Golden states, “Before I got pregnant, I was just in career mode. That was pretty much my focus. Career. Career. Career. ‘I’ve got this project. What am I going to do after this project?’ Having a child totally changed me. My daughter has taught my patience. It’s not about the next job. It’s not about the next project. It’s about being a better me. I know it sounds cliche. I was fortunate enough to take time off rather than leave her with a nanny and let a nanny raise her. I think the first years of her life are really important. It’s that divine energy. It just opened my eyes to a lot of things. I look at a lot of things differently now.”

You guys on here need to stop with this color thing. Yes, she’s cute, but some of you are over exaggerating only because she’s the only chocolate baby posted on here. And I’m chocolate too, but tired of hearing the hate on the light skin babies. Stop it!
I agree. Some people act as if they have a problem with light skin people and get offended when someone says a light skin person is attractive as if the person said dark skin is unattractive. I think every shade is beautiful. Anywho, little Dakota is a cutie pie and looks like such a sweetheart.
There’s nothing wrong with people saying they want to see more darker babies on a site for black babies. The color line is real.

She is absolutely beautiful and YES the eyes are just dreamy! Usually people who have have exotic shaped eyes are most of the time labeled as looking mean when staring or focused on something….such a pet peave of mines. I have those eyes and I can look to the left of look down, and heaven forbids if I look the least bit serious, then I am looking mean. Oh well, baby girl is dreamy.
