Christopher George Latore Wallace, a.k.a. The Notorious B.I.G., will be recognized in XXL‘s latest issue. This year marks 15 years since the rapper was brutally murdered.

In addition to honoring Notorious, XXL will also reflect on the headway that hip-hop made in the year 1997. According to many experts in the music industry 1997 was by far the most successful year within the hip-hop arena. The magazine will explore the progresses and failures of the industry during this time through an essay.

B.I.G. had two children by Jan Jackson and Faith Evans. Both T’Yanna and Christopher “CJ’ Wallace will talk about their father in the issue.

Around the Web

  1. Greetings from Florida! I’m bored at work so I
decided to check out your website on my iphone during lunch break.

I enjoy the knowledge you present here and
can’t wait to take a look when I get home. I’m surprised at how fast your blog loaded on my cell phone ..
I’m not even using WIFI, just 3G .. Anyways, awesome site!

  2. What i do not realize is in truth how you’re
not really a lot more neatly-favored than you might be right now.
You’re so intelligent. You realize thus considerably in terms of this subject,
produced me personally believe it from numerous numerous angles.
Its like men and women are not interested until it’s one thing to do with Woman gaga!
Your individual stuffs excellent. Always deal with it up!

  3. I blog quite often and I truly appreciate your information.
This great article has really peaked my interest.
I am going to book mark your site and keep checking
for new details about once a week. I opted in for your Feed as well.

  4. My partner and I stumbled over here by a different web page and thought I may as well check things
out. I like what I see so now i’m following you. Look forward to looking over your web page again.

  5. How did a post about Big’s children turn into who is the greatest rapper of all time post?? Keep to the subject please,lol..

  6. @ NICK it is very serious when you are speaking of someone and their child. So please mind your buisness.

      • someone on twitter that seen a picture of Blue Ivy said she looks just like Jayz but she’s not ugly, just a girl version of him but then again who knows lol

      • that’s not what he said. His song says a GLASS of BEY and a dash of ME…which sounds like she looks like her MOMMY!!

        • “A younger, smarter, faster me/ So a pinch of Hov, a whole glass of Be”

then he said at the end of the song…

“Hard not to spoil you rotten, looking like a little me…”

So the 1st line is saying she has the personality of Beyonce b/c she’s smarter than him. But in the last line he said she looks like him

        • I persnally think Bee and Jay probably made a beautiful baby. There features are totally different which could make for a beautiful combination. Happens all the time! Plus, I think Jay z is handsome!

  7. They need to stop putting him as the greatest rapper ever, there are other pioneers before him! Tupac was the best, he had about 10 albums compared to Biggies two “Yessss just two”! His children, he would be proud but I know that his daughter would of loved to have taken moms looks than dads!

  8. I think both of Biggie’s kids are adorable. But wow, I can’t believe it’s been 15 years. Biggie and Tupac are huge losses in the music industry.

  9. They look SO MUCH like him, but better. I loved Tupac, but I must say Biggie was very talented, too.
