JENNIFER HUDSON AND FAMILY AT NAACP IMAGE AWARDS
Singer Jennifer Hudson, fiance David Otunga, and son David Daniel Otunga Jr.,2, attend the 43rd NAACP Image Awards held on Friday, February 17, 2012 in Los Angeles, California. Hudson’s son and fiance watched her claim the Outstanding Album Award for “I Remember Me.” Jennifer also performed “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” with Ne-Yo at the ceremony.
Hudson attended Whitney Houston’s funeral over the weekend after rendering an outstanding tribute to the late singer at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards. When asked about the tribute by Us Weekly Hudson said, “It was the greatest honor of my life to be able to be the one to pay tribute to Whitney’s memory. It was from my heart. I haven’t stopped crying since she passed. Her family is in my prayers.”

Lovely Whitney Tribute.
Beautiful Black Family. David’s parents were married over 40 years prior to his father’s death. Maybe the reason they have yet to marry is because Jennifer grew up in a household with a single mother of three. Hudson rarely speaks about her late father and the fact that her Bible Talking parents just shacked up. Jennifer’s dad had at least another 8 kids by several women, so maybe marriage is not for her. Who knows, but a second baby would definitely be tacky out of wedlock.

I’m not a J-Hud fan, but I enjoyed her tribute. She had to put her own spin on it because no one could ever sing that song the way Whitney did. It would be foolish to try.

Munch is adorable. He’s getting big. God bless Jennifer. Lord knows she has lived through her share (and more) of tragedies and by faith she continues to rise. I hope she remains grounded and enjoys her little family with David, Julia and Munch. Also, I loved her emotional tribute to Whitney. It was too soon and the pain was felt in her vocals but she pulled through like a champion. If she wanted to shatter glass with that song we know she could have done it easily but she was mourning while trying to remember. God bless her.

I enjoyed the tribute Yolanda Adams gave…until she started singing like it was her concert. I just thought it was a little over-the-top at the end. I like Jennifer and her family. Nice pic of them.

@Shady first of all nobody cares if you liked it or not, it was for whitney not you, and you’re supposed to make it your own , it’s called a tribute for a reason . Yolanda Adams on the other hand was a mess. In the end she made it about herself instead of whitney.
