MARTIN AND THE FAMILY AT THE EYE ON BLACK SALUTE EVENT
Martin Lawrence poses with wife Shamika and daughter Amara,11, at the Eye on Black salute with Centric Network in Downtown Los Angeles. The event was held on Friday, February 24, 2012 at the Park Plaza Hotel.
Lawrence was recently scouted and booked for a new CBS comedic series that stars a widowed cop and his children. Entertainment Weekly reports, “CBS has given one of the Bad Boys actor-comedian’s projects a pilot order. The untitled project stars Lawrence as a widowed father of two teenagers who, after losing his job in construction, decides to go to the police academy and become a cop at the age of 46.”
Martin and Shamika have two children together. Lawrence has three children in total.
