NIA FRAZIER DANCES TO THE TOP
Ten year old dancing sensation Nia Frazier is not only great dancer, but she is also one of the young performers on the Lifetime hit show Dance Moms. Nia has been dancing with the Abby Lee Miller Company since she was only 3 years old.
Nia is a big fan of dancing because it’s a “good way to exercise and and it gives her energy” to get through her busy day which includes school, dancing, swimming, music and Karate.
Young Nia would love to be a Rockette so that “she can do the high kicks”, but if that doesn’t work out for her she’d like to be an artist.
Nia’s mom, Dr. Holly Frazier, has also appeared on the show. Aside from Nia’s parents, she also has the support of her two older brothers Evan and William.

I love nia, I feel she’s the under dog bc she’s the token black girl :/ I dont like abby at all, shes verbally abusive to those kids, and just bc their parents keep bringing them back doesnt mean anything. It just means they arent that smart. You can still be realistic and prepare a kid for rejection w/ out being that cruel. Its like slapping your kid in the face before they go to school amd when they come home to ” prepare” them for the world’s cruelity. Anywho, I love nia.. Also chloe shes so humble and smart

I love Dance Mom’s! Abby is a little over the top but the show is great. I’ve always supported Nia but did feel that she lacked the style and grace of a true dancer. Tonight I saw different Nia is coming a long way. Maybe it took that bull with Abby and Jill to turn something inside Nia. Whatever, I see the dancer in Nia now
Its nothing good about Nia mother allowing a white woman having her daughter dance to Lequifa with an afro on. Her mother wants to fit in so bad that she allows it. Its hundreds of FIT dance instructors that can physically move and show her daughter what to do. I detest that show and feel bad for poor Nia, poor baby.
Maybe Nia and Holly should defect after this fiasco! Nia did not deserve to be set up like that–she’s such a sweet little girl. Perhaps Nia needs an instructor with fresh eyes who will actually help her to grow as a dancer instead of berating, belittling and underestimating her. Nia’s solos are usually not choreographed to win anyway–remember LaQuifa? I’m sure the judges were uncomfortable with that.
I read on a website that this was not even a real competition and the producers put it together so it could be abby lee vs candy apples so that candy apples could finally win. that’s not even fair that this is the episode they finally put nia in a solo just for her to lose.
Maybe that’s y Holly said Nia was a pawn in one of their little games or something like that.
All of you that are talking negative about Abby, can HAVE A SEAT! Yes, I said it. HAVE A DOGGONE SEAT! Let me break it down real quick. Had you all watched The View, then you’d know that she isn’t always like that. Even the dancers said that she’s a lot of fun. They just don’t show that side of her. Yes, she’s tough on them. You can not coddle them. They are a competition team and they also go on auditions for different things. Abby prepares them for rejection. The audition and competition world isn’t nice. They give it to you straight. They say, “Yes, we’ll keep you. No thank you. We’ll take you. You need help. NEXT” All of the girls have been with her since they were toddlers, so she MUST be doing something RIGHT!
I have a question for those that are talking negative about Abby. Did you ever sit back and ask yourself this ?. If Abby’s so mean, then why are the mothers keeping their children there? If she’s so verbally abusive, why are they staying? Abby must be doing something right. She’s been in the business for over 30yrs and her dancers are excellent. She wouldn’t have a dance company if she was so doggone abusive and mean. She would’ve been out of business. Abby is always and will forever be Abby. If the mothers don’t like it, find somewhere else to take your child. Had I lived in Pittsburgh and had a child, she’d go right there. Those children are disciplined and they are GOOD! JOB WELL DONE ABBY! KUDOS!
I was too busy venting and forgot to comment on NIa. Lol! NIA IS MY FAVORITE! I love me some Nia and Holly! Holly gives her opinion, yet she respects Abby and knows how to handle the things that come out of Abby’s mouth. #TeamNia all day long! I was extremely happy for Nia when she made it to the top of that pyramid. I love the pyramid idea. It gives the girls something to strive for. Abby said that Nia has been working hard and she deserves to be at the top. GREAT JOB NIA! Keep working and striving to be at the top! Her and little Makenzie! I have to give credit where credit is due. You can tell when a child dances from their heart and little Makenzie and Maddy dance from their heart. Dancing is their passion and that’s why they are so good. That’s why Makenzie got good quick. Not only does she look up to her sister, she loves what she’s doing. Their mom sees that in her daughters, so she does whatever it takes to make sure they continue to do what they love to do!

I am sorry but I would never just drop my kids off and leave them in the hands of Abby Lee. There is a difference between constructive critism and verbal abuse and Abby leans to close to verbal abuse for me. When I watched the show for the first time I was wondering how could Abby show those kids how to dance until I seen an episode of another young lady who was actually dancing and showing the how to do the moves. I do agree that Nia is awesome and so are the other girls.
I am glad to see she is being represented hree. She is very talented. SHe was cheated out of winning on the last episode though. I thought she deserved to win and when she lost I hate that Abby beat up on her for crying. She deserved that. I also like that her parents are supportive of her. Great job Nia and keep up the good work!

ASDFGHJKL; oh my lord i never even realized nia has never been on BCK before. i love me some nia. she is just way too adorable and a cute little dancer. she is my favorite and her mom is amazing, considering she’s probably the only semi-normal one there. my heart broke when her dad came to watch her dance. if you guys don’t watch dance moms you have to for this little cutie. love love love nia!
OMG! Don’t you all know how hard is the hollywood career. This lady is very strict because that will build you character! I’m so sick and tired of today’s sugar coated to children! Just say it like it is!
So true! I love Abby. She is funny but deep down, she loves those girls. And also, the parents and kids ate getting paid to be on the show which.is why the parents keep bringing their kids back.

It’s crazy because she is so talented, but her dance instructor, who is suppose to be there to help her does not put in the time to make her even better. She rather focus on one student and make sure that one succeed, rather than help all of them. I would definitely not subject my kids to verbal abuse, especially from an adult, and an adult the kids suppose to respect and try to impress, nope! And it seem like alot of their dances are like flips and splits, or is it just me. Oh well, you go NIA!!!!!
I too love Nia and how well mannered she is. In addition, I too love how her Mom handles the instructor, even though, I wish I would take her place and tell the instructor a thing or two. I do not agree with how she talks to the young ladies, it is a bit too harsh and demeaning at times….good TV or not!
Now as a former dancer, I think Nia’s only drawback is her movements, they are not fluid or as graceful as they should be. Acrobatically she is amazing; she just needs to focus on really learning to move with grace. Once she nails that, she will always be on the top of the pyramid!
Go Nia, go Nia,…. I was soooo happy to see her finally get a solo chance. Her strengths are different than Maddie’s with the acro, hope we get to see more solo’s from her on the show.
i love dance mom. my fav is Mackenzie.. i love nia too. she is very nice and friendly. i wish that they would allow her more solo becuse this child can really dance as well as do gymnastics. i dont like how Abby treats the kids but im sure she is doin this because of tv alot of this stuff is scripted. IM VERY GLAD TO SEE NIA ON HERE!!!
yay Nia! i love me some Dance Moms. didn’t even occur to me that she hadn’t been featured on this website yet. she certainly is a tenacious dancer, and doesn’t give up.
She is one of my favorites on the show. I’m glad BCK is acknowledging this talented kid!

People send their kids there because of the standards Abby has. My kids danced there for seven years and the best way I found to deal with Abby was to drop the kids off and pick them up after dance was over.
I WATCHED THIS SHOW ONCE, WHICH HAPPENED TO BE THE EPISODE WHERE HOLLY WAS LATE OR SOMETHING AND KATE CALLED HERSELF TRYING TO TELL HER OFF FOR IT. KATE CAN BE VERY HARSH, AND I CAN ONLY IMAGINE THE FEES FOR HER CLASS. I CAN BET THE CHILDREN DON’T PLAY WITH KATE NOR THEIR TIME THERE.
She’s the ONLY one on that show that has some sense. Nia is adorable and so well mannered. Keep up the good work mom!

I know! I was so happy for her. But then, I thought it was really shady how Jill let Kendall join Candy Apples and compete against her. Nia was so hurt when she lost. Just like Holly said, her child was used as a pawn. That was between Abby and Jill. They should have left the girls out of it.
I agree. Kendall mother was a little too pushy while she was at. Abby. I too thought it was real shady and wrong of them to go to candy apples. Nia will have her time again.
O.M.G! I love her! She’s so well mannered and determined! Plus, I love the fact that her mom is the most educated among the moms and she doesn’t act all crazy like the others either. Nia’s a superstar! God Bless her heart!
Oh yes! I love Holly too she put Abby in her place all the time but in educated way. I love Nia dad too. She has a great family.
Yes her dad was so dapper lol. Holly always handles all of her disagreements with class and I love that!!! Oh n I was over the moon when she was on the top of the pyramid cuz she really did do a great job in the ‘private eye’ dance. I was watching her the whole time…Love her! Gotta give it to Holly and her dad, they are raising her well.

. We could not stand her lol. Always yelled, the stance had to be right, and the list goes on…. But at the end of the day she had our best interest at heart.
On another note, this young lady is incredible at dance, and is my favorite.
I’ve watched this show a few times & lil mama can dance. But the dance instructor smh. She’s so mean & how she talks to the kids smh. I would not be able to sit there & listen to her talk down to my kid like that, then she talks to the parents like anything

I love Nia! She is my favorite cast member. All of the girls are beautiful dancers. I just wish Abby Lee wasnt such a tryant but then again I guess it wouldnt make for good tv. I personally wouldnt subject my child to verbal abuse from a dance teacher or anyone else for that matter.
Nia is very talented,how they let be apart of Dance Nom’s is beyond me! Abby is a big a** bully and I wouldn’t have her talking to my baby like she does! But hey it makes for great TV
