At the end of the game, Miami Heat forward LeBron James handed the seven-year-old his game headband, wristband, and sneakers. Lebron autographed the sneakers before walking off the court shoeless.
Mom Solange, who was not in attendance, thanked the basketball player via Twitter, saying: “Thank you @KingJames, for making Julez’s day, week, month… etc. He has a permanent smile. Very, very kind of you.”

That was nice of Lebron, regardless of who he gave them to. The meaning it has for that child makes it all worth it.

The value of celebrity sports memorabilia increases if it is proven to have the celebrity athletes DNA actually on/in it. For example, a pair Muhammad Ali’s boxing gloves are collectibles but if he actually wore them to box in and left traces of his DNA (sweat) in them the value skyrockets.
Juelz should be smiling and hoping LeBron goes on to be one of the best basketball players of all time like Michael Jordan.
Juelz is such a lucky little boy. LeBron’s sneakers will be easily authenticated, and on top of it all, there will even be a picture of him with LeBron actually gifting him the special shoes. Sweet!
I went to sportsmemorabilia.com and saw a pair of sneaks autographed by LeBron James on sale down from $2,032.99 to $1,729.24. There were only 5 pairs left. Worth way more than Larry Birds!

I read on another blog, Lebron always gives a kid something. & if you watch the video, Jay is talking to Lebron about something then Lebron starts taking his stuff off & gives it to Juelz. So Jay probably told Lebron, make my nephew happy kid lol. Idk who would want all the sweaty stuff anyway lmao. Well a sports fanatic probably would lol

@yo @trisha He has done it before, but who’s to say those kids aren’t rich as well? Should Lebron ask to see proof of poorness with those kids that don’t have a famous relative? Every day unknown corporate business men and guys with good jobs who make really good money take their kids to games, too. People who make money aren’t always famous and people who are famous don’t always make money, lol.
@tanja Outside of the fame of his fam, Julez and his fam are regular prople. They’re all human beings. & IMO an innocent kid is an innocent kid, famous or not, and that sparkle in Julez’s eye when Lebron handed him the stuff told me it meant a lot to him, regardless of who his Aunt and Uncle may be to the world. I’m so glad Lebron didn’t disregard that, due to his family’s celebrity.
And, well, Solange had a function to DJ last night, so she couldn’t go. Solange and Daniel Sr. have both said they remain parents and friends though and have been pictured out together since the divorce . They’re both on twitter and have tweeted about spending holidays and family vacays together before. Sometimes, life gets captured by a camera and sometimes, it doesn’t. You aren’t gonna see pictures of everything and you can’t always go by what you do see in pictures, lol.
Easy. Invite some poor kids to the game and give them stuff that is valuable. Those sneakers signed on ebay will get hundreds. Lebron knows this. Jay-Z knows this.
LeBron is very active in programs aiding at-risk youth in the Ohio and Miami area like the person above stated not everything is documented on camera and poor kids aren’t the only children that deserve special moments like this. Happy for you Julez!!!

Not everything is documented, not every kid that has gotten lebron’s sweaty sneakers & headband will make BCK or the front of AOL/YAHOO. Lebron always does this & he shouldn’t have to pick & choose just to satisfy the public. He doesn’t have to give anything away if he doesn’t want

I saw a recent picture with Daniel Sr., Solange, Julez and Tina. It’s just not unewsworthy as a picture with the Carters. They are not really showing him in these photos.

Actually a friend of mine got some shoes from a starting player and not only did they not have insoles (weird) they were brand new. He said they get new pairs every game. So wasteful.
