MARISKA HARGITAY SHARES FAMILY PICTURES WITH ELLEN AND TALKS ABOUT ADOPTION EXPERIENCE
Mariska Hargitay is detective Olivia Benson on the show Law and Oder: Special Victims Unit. Although she is a tough police officer who demands respect on the show, Mariska is a gentle mother of three children at home.
When recently asked about motherhood in conjunction with her experience on the show, Hargitay said, “[The show has] made me a better mother. The show has made me very strong. New York is a tough city and it changed me. I feel like I can handle anything now. It’s made me a better mother, it’s made me tough, and it’s made me handle crisis better.”
She adds of being a mother, “It’s pretty dreamy. Some days I just sit and pinch myself. … It [feels] like nothing shy of a miracle. This year has been a year of true blessings.”
Mariska recently interviewed on the Ellen DeGeneres Show and revealed new pictures of the family. Check out the interview below!
