NIA LONG AND SON BOWL FOR A CAUSE
Mother and son Massai Dorsey II and Nia Long attended the 1st ABFF Celebrity Bowling Gala at Lucky Strikes on Saturday, April 21, 2012 in Hollywood, California. The event was organized to raise awareness and money for the Film Life Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving underprivileged minority youth interested in pursuing careers in film and television.
Nia and Massai,11, did a little bowling and answered a few questions for the paparazzi. When asked about her current plans as an actress and new mother, Long said, “Right now I am just working on a film this summer and taking care of my babies.”
ABFF was founded in 1997 to create a balance of culture in the motion picture industry. The organization endeavors to strengthen the African American film community through education, collaboration, and career development. Nia, who recently welcomed her second child, was one of many celebs within the Black community to come out and support ABFF’s first bowling fundraiser.
