HALLE IS SAVING ALL HER SHOES FOR NAHLA, WANTS TO RELOCATE TO FRANCE
Some mothers pass down jewelry, some pass on quilts. Halle is is giving her shoes to her daughter Nahla,4.
“I think shoes after something that, through time, will always come back in fashion again. I had shoes my mother gave to me from the 1970s that I wore a few years ago. So yes, I’m thinking of that for my daughter,” she said in a recent interview.
Nahla definitely won’t have to worry about shoes in the future since her mother is completely addicted to the wear. As Halle explains, “I’m pretty addicted. I have thousands of pairs and I have a real relationship with them. I think many women do. Shoes are like a good hairdo; they reflect how we feel. If you’re feeling sexy, fun, sporty, if you’re feeling casual … your shoes say a lot about you. I have a storage room where I keep them all, in their boxes with a picture of each pair taped to the outside. I’m pretty obsessive.”
In related news, the Oscar-winning actress wants to move to France to flee the paparazzi.
“It’s not one photographer hiding in the bushes, it’s 20, 30 very close to us, causing commotion,” she explainsExtraTv. “I’m not complaining about me. I’m an adult; I can handle it. But children should not be subject to that. It’s just wrong.”
Halle continued: “There are laws like [that] in France, which is the reason I want go there. Laws that protect children, protect right to privacy. All I want is for my family and myself to have a normal life. When I’m not at work, that’s very important to me.”

Does Halle’s hands/grip on Nahla look like her hands are arthritic?
Um ok well I think she just picked her up and that’s why she wasn’t holder her quite right.Either way I think this girl must not weigh much because they are always carrying her even though she is 3.My child is 2,and pretty heavy so I just hold his hand,but I don’t carry him unless its absoulutely nesessary.
Nahla can auction them off as part of her mother’s estate after she is deceased and hope they fetch as much as though they had belonged to Princess Diana, Michael Jackson or Marilyn Monroe.
Doubtful…so I just hope she keeps them and cherishes them as keepsakes like her mother’s body of work in cinema.

The UK’s law on blurring out pics is nice and all, but the fact of the matter is that no one has been anonymous since the invention of the world wide web. If someone wants to find you and hurt you or kidnap you for whatever reason, a blurred out face on a computer screen isn’t going to stop them. The law also does not stop paps from following you and just like we have laws that prevent strangers from trespassing on private property and sometimes paps ignore them; the same thing happens in the UK, because the Beckhams have had that problem to.
I could be wrong but I don’t think Nahla will be able to wear Halle’s shoes. Her frame already resembles her dad. I just have to wonder if Halles’s flight to France has anything to do with her fiace’s homeland? I can ynderstand wnting to protect your child but if its to get her away from her dad its a bad move. She’s been married twice, got invoved w/Gabe working with him, ditto with Oliver. I’m a tad weary of her. Just saying. Maybe if she stayed lowkey. Try doing what the others are doing whom you never see pictures of. They will still be looking for pics, especially if she is allowed to move to France. I think it will be worse for her, regardless for the reason of the move. I just want her to put Nahla’s best interest first. Oliver should be worried when she starts filming again unless he’s the lading man.
Agree, other “A” listers, like Julia Roberts are raising young kids in the U.S. Not to mention Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez, Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie…
Exactly Pisces. I mean, we’ve only seen Mariah’s kids in public three times since they were born and it’s been a year, and they’ve traveled back and forth from CA & NY numerous times, Atlanta, Miami, Aspen and are about to add France and Austria to their list (where are those adoption papers, I just had them for Nick and Mariah to sign?) All the people you mention live in gated in communities, away from prying eyes, and in NY where they’re too far up to be seen lol. She should try it.

I agree, except for JLOW her kids aren’t popular with the press but the Garner kids are always in the media.
Gwyneth Paltrow lives in London. Angelina Jolie moves her kids all over the world all the time. They aren’t settled anywhere.
And just because one person is fine with something doesn’t mean another person has to be. My neighbors let their kids drink soda I don’t allow my kids to drink soda.
Some celebrities really embrace having the paps follow their kids or have no trouble allowing their kids to be photographed. Angelina, JLow, Paltrow, etc. all sold pictures of their kids to magazines when they were born. Halle never did. She also has a very well publicized stalker who broke into her LA home recently.
Regardless of your opinion of her, the fact of the matter is no one on this board knows her personally, sat in any of the court rooms, or knows what Gabriel has said or done to her in private.
Gabriel isn’t America so pulling up and moving to a oreign country won’t be such a big deal Halle has to go where she will feel safe with their daughter. Gabriel models all over the world and France would be like a secon home to him as well since he already speaks the language.
Yes because moving to a different city or state in America where the paps aren’t as rampant, is just too much to ask.

I asked myself the same question, Gabriel is like 6’2″ and he doesn’t have small hands and feet. Nahla could very well grow a lot taller then her mother.

If Halle wants to move to France for Nahla’s protection, she shouldn’t have any issues when Nahla has to spend weeks & months with Gabe without her.
The judge has blocked all of her attempts so far, but I hope she has thought about that because you’re right, Nahla will most likely wind up spending whole summer and spring breaks, and winter holidays with Gabe in the US, since Halle gets the whole school year.

In France they aren’t allowed to show kids faces( they are blurred) in French publications but they can still be photographed .The pics can only be seen in foriegn mags(ie US , UK) There are dozens of pics of the Jolie Pitt kids that were taken in France but published in non French mags and newspapers

Gabe could go to France too. If he thinks about Nahla & the paps, he shouldn’t mind relocating. Its not like he’s working in LA anyways. Plus France would be a good move to help his “modeling” career.
Whether he’s working or not, he shouldn’t have to move his life. Not to mention, her story keeps flip flopping because at first she wanted to move Nahla, because according to her, she was receiving threats and had a stalker. Now it’s because of the paps. When the last time Halle did a good and or big movie, she could just move to a different neighborhood. There are plenty of celebs that live in California and manage to avoid the press.

They most likely contributed but I believe it’s been said that her driver was drunk. Anyway, it’s pointless for celebs to think that they can outrun the paps. Yes in France the pics are blurred, but the children are still being snapped. And what does she expect when she lives in Malibu and right on the beach? Move to a house that’s gated in and you won’t have to worry so much.
& like i said ITS FOR HIS CHILD! His daughter is his life. & if he has a problem w/ the paps/stalkers etc. Then he shouldn’t have no problem relocating. You can say whatever you want and I’m going to say what I want. The laws in Paris prevent the child’s face being printed, but the child’s picture is still being taken, you can’t outrun them. As much as the law gives privacy, it does not give PROTECTION. Yes there is a difference between paps and stalkers. People who actually have or have had stalkers will tell you that. One thing that would help her is moving out of Malibu and off the beach where the paps have easy access to her, the beach is not private property so they are not trespassing. Like I said, there are plenty of celebs that live in California, and manage to avoid the paps.
I agree Michelle. Under California law, only the part of the beach in front of the homes in Malibu, is private. So of course the paps are going to feel comfy being close and taking pictures, because they’re not breaking any laws and they’re not on private property. How do you skip over the sensible idea of moving to a more private home, to moving to a whole other country. That sounds off. There are people in the witness protection program, in real danger, that we haven’t relocated to new countries…

I agree she should have known who she was sleeping with/producing a child with. She should have just went w/ a sperm donor if all she wanted was child. Idk if that was the only reason she got w/ Gabe. But some peoples true colors show later on in the relationship. Everybody is different. i’m not sticking up for Gabe, & i’m not sticking up for Halle. i’m just not going to judge Halle or her decisions based on a little information that is shared on a blog. B/c there is clearly more to the story, I’m just trying to keep an open mind
Why is Halle so pressed about the paps? That’s how she makes her money. She’s no more “stalked” than any other major hollywood celeb and their children. Her motives are questionable. And Halle’s career isn’t exactly popping, when was her last movie?
She makes money from doing movies, commercials, endorsements etc. She doesn’t get paid when the paps takes pictures of her walking to the store. If Halle wasn’t one of the popular black actresses out there & didn’t have “juicy” gossip or whatever behind her name, the paps would not be interested in her

yep! she ain’t fooling many people. she wants to move to france to keep gabe away from “her” daughter. she got what she wanted from him and doesn’t have any use for him anymore – but her daughter does. and as someone stated in the biz – alot of these stars will actually have someone call the paps to tell them where they will be to keep their names and faces in the press. and halle was said to be one of them!

I never thought of passing my shoes on to my daughter, interesting. I actually take pictures of ALL her new shoes, since birth, so she can see how much fashion has changed when she’s older. I LOVVVVVVE SHOES!!!
Actually passing down shoes to your kids is very common. My mother actually did that with me and i have few pairs of her shoes.
I agrre Gabe does look so happy with Nahla.It seems like white guys take care of their kids more than black guys on average even if they didn’t really know the mother.I have a feeling that Halle and Gabe didn’t really know each other that well.It never seemed like they were ever in a serious relationship,you never saw them kiss,and I bet after Halle got what she wanted she thought he’s just go away.She thought if she left Gabe he’d leave both her and Nahla alone.Boy was she wrong.
