June Ambrose is a notable stylist and mother of two children. She recently talked about her balance between career and family life on her show Styled By June.

When asked about her ability to lead an amazing career and be a great mom June said, “I feel like my career and my personal life have become one because my career is so personal. I have children so I’ve learned when to shut down. I’ve learned then to put the phone down.”

Although she could easily hire a professional chef to do all of the cooking for her household, June enjoys does all of the cooking in her kitchen. “I cook a meal because I love to cook,” Ambrose says, “creatively it’s an outlet and I think those things still allow me to be creative, but it allows me my family time as well.”

So what’s the secret potion behind this stellar stylist and all-around mom? “Taking care of me before taking care of others is really my trade secret,” June says.
