OMG GIRLZ TALK ABOUT FASHION, REALITY TV, AND MORE
The OMG Girlz have been very busy at work with Interscope Records making hits for their upcoming album, which is 90% complete, according to the girls.
In between their rigorous schedule, the girls sat down with the folks at Yahoo for an exclusive two-part interview where they talked about everything from shopping to reality TV.
During the the interview, the girls chatted about how they are far from being stuck on labels. The girls said they shopped according to what they like versus who the item was made by. They are glad to admit that they enjoy shopping at Marshalls, Ross and Forever 21 like so many other girls their age.
“I get whatever is cute, no matter the price,” Beauty said during the interview.
The girls also talked about Baby Doll entering the group two years ago. The OMG Girlz asked Baby Doll to join the group after seeing her Youtube videos.
“The transition was smooth,” Beauty said. “Two girls left. Lolo is my sister. She was totally OK leaving the group. Her and [Lil Wayne's daughter] Reginae, they actually have their own group. We’re all just really good friends. They love Baby Doll so much. There’s no animosity.”
Not only are the girls singers, they are also reality TV stars. They’ve appeared on BET’s “Tiny and Toy” and VH1′s “T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle.”
Star (daughter of T.I. and Tiny) said that her family is fine with being on reality TV. She said, “It’s comfortable because my family is really crazy so when the cameras are around you hardly know they are there,” she said. “We all act normal. It’s nothing fake. How my family is on TV is how we really are. [My brother] King is really that bad.”
