PROMO PICS FOR DISNEY’S “LET IT SHINE”
Check out Coco Jones, Trevor Jackson, and Tyler James in their promotional pics for the new Disney Channel Original movie, “Let It Shine.”
The new Disney movie is about a 16 year old, up and coming musician, named Cyrus (Williams) who writes a song for his crush, Roxanne (Jones). Cyrus and his best friend, Kris (Jackson), enter a songwriting contest where Kris (Jackson) accidentally wins the contest with the song.
Cyrus doesn’t want to be thrust in the spotlight, so he lets his friend take credit for the song. Cyrus watches as the girl that he likes starts to have feelings for his best friend.
“Let It Shine” airs on Disney Channel June 15th 2012 at 8:00 pm ET/PT.

Yay Disney, diversifying their movies!! The Jackson kid is so handsome!! Looks like he could be Flex’s son (looks a lot like his daughter). Is this going to be a musical? I love how its racially neutral as well (at least I hope so, unless he is a rapper or something…)
It did say singer, but Disney has had every black male character rap…
