THE BIG KIDS’ FILE: SKYE TOWNSEND RELEASES FIRST EP
Eighteen year old Skye Townsend is more than just the daughter of comedian/director Robert Townsend. She is a singer, photographer, painter, and an overall talented artist. Although Skye has many talents, she decided to focus her energy on her singing career.
Skye recently released her first EP,”Vomit”, with a debut song titled “It’s Normal”. In Skye’s words:
“The song is about falling in love and one person being afraid to fall…the feather headdress represents native American royalty. The bridge is a Ghanaian chant that says “help me and let me help you, he who wants to be king. The face paint is a tribal display of falling in love.”

She sorta looks like a blow up doll in that pic with that red lipstick.
The outline looks like the map of Saint Lucia…. Maybe Barbados…
It seems like they made her skin lighter for the cover art. I hope she accomplishes all that she dreams of…
@Ms. Ash, I agree. The first thing I noticed was how she looks extra lighter than usual. So sad that this trend of lightening folks is continuing.
Those are terrible graphics. I hope the music is better than the title “VOMIT”, what an odd name… o_O
