Mother’s Day is approaching and many people are trying to find the perfect way to say ‘Thank you’ and ‘I love you’ to that special woman in their life, the woman that gave them life. Here are a few Mother’s Day gift ideas:
1. Spa package- This gift is definitely something that every mom can appreciate! A day or even just an hour of pampering can put a mom’s mind at ease.
2. Eating out- Whether it’s eating out or just going to someone else house for them to do the cooking, many mom’s will appreciate just being able to be the one being served for once!
3. Jewelry- Diamonds (or pearls or silver) are always a girl’s best friend. You can’t go wrong with a little bling.

You know I have to get into this convo. So sorry about your mom Pisces, wish I can give you mine (but you may not like me afterwards). Your mom knows how much you love & miss her. You do not sound bitter to me & do not need to explain it to anyone.
Misunderstood..motherhood is a wonderful thing & you will experience one day. When you finally have that child, you will be able to show them just how much.
Finally, the perfect mother’s day gift for me is for my son to have one more good year continuing down the great path he’s currently on.

), Pisces (I have a bottle of Stolichnaya “Stoli” vodka for you, I’ll toast your mum tonight), Seriously (Did you have your baby as yet?), tanja (my mum told me that the effects of PPD can last a long time, hope you have alot of love around you), and Misunderstood (Motherhood is not just biological, I bet you mother the heck out of your nieces, nephews & god-children. It’s better to wait and have a child later in life than to settle).
And to my mum, I want to be just like her. I have two older brothers and a uncle that my parents adopted. When I was nine I was at a Omega/Delta banquet (my dads an omega) and when I was in the bathroom a lady (a cousin of my dads first wife) said something to me that made me realize that my mother was not my brothers bio mum. Then she twisted the knife a bit by hinting that the woman was coming back for her kids. I was hysterical (in hindsite my brothers were 13 & 18, and the 13 yearold had never met his bio mum). My mum is 5-4 110lbs and this lady was a lot bigger and heavier. My mum came in & beat her and her soror’s @$$ in the bathroom.
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to my mum, who is not just a mum to me and my five younger brothers but to my older brothers who were not born of her body but her heart.

It’s no excuse, but if I come across as kind of bitter or harsh when I comment, it just because I always miss my Mommy and she has been gone a long time and way too soon!
U know what Pisces I needed to hear that! I was just feeling down yesterday because all my friends have kids except me, but that’s only because I won’t settle. Pisces I don’t consider u to be bitter at all u have an opinion just like everyone else and if they can’t accept that oh well!
