J’Sani Entertainment recently signed a young, new artist who is already making headlines, Nya J.

Nya,11, who comes from a long background of musicians and artists, has already been performing for audiences for 6 years. She is now ready to take her place as what she calls, “The last B Girl.” She received much of her inspiration and drive from Salt-N-Peppa and Roxanne Shante, old-school female emcees at their finest. Nya says, “I am so glad my parents introduced me to legends like Roxanne Shante and Nas. Their music has helped me to know the difference between good music and a hot song.”

Nya’s latest song, “Headlines,” is a cover of rapper Drake’s song “Headlines” and is slated to be on her upcoming mixtape titled, “Hold My Own.”

Nya is making waves as a young MC. Her unique talent is sure to put her on the map.
