Singer Lauryn Hill poses in a recent picture with children (l to r) Sarah, Nico, Eden, Selah, Micah, John, & Joshua. Nico and Eden are Lauryn’s ex Rohan Marley’s children from a previous relationship. Missing from the picture is Lauryn’s first-born son, Zion.
Hill gave birth last year to her sixth child Micah, whose father has not yet been publicly identified.
The Marley children-Sarah, Selah, Joshua, and John- recently enjoyed bobsledding and ziplining at Jamaica’s #1 attraction: Mystic Mountain. The kids later visited their deceased grandfather’s home in Kingston, Jamaica. Bob Marley’s home at 56 Hope Rd. was where the legendary musician lived until his time of death.

Rohan’s older children from his previous marriage seem to spend alot of time with their siblings and Lauryn. She must be a very wonderful person to them. Probably a very generous person overall. She keeps those kids close knit. God Bless her and her beautiful family.
Wow! Rohan has 8+ kids? And is marrying someone else and people feel the need to bash Lauryn??
The whole situation is wild but it seems they both moved on a while ago.
I just think that Lauryn has low self esteem or something. Ijust don’t see any other reason why a woman who have that many kids by a guy knowing that he will never marry her.
Low self esteem.. with her creativity, drive and successes I don’t merit it to low self esteem. Initially it was a very strong physical attraction. He came in the picture when the world was absorbed with everything and every move she was making.. Has to be suffocating to live in such a bubble when that type of hype and hysteria has taken over.He was very protective over her. Then as she became more domesticated loving being a mother..his ADHD couldn’t take the stableness..he self medicates..like most do..Admire her fully. She is an amazing woman who has remained for the most part beautifully humble.
Man or no man, husband o not. Lauryn is blessed to have those beautiful children. More power to her and her very productive womb!

well i think Lauryn is a wonderful woman,mother,may not be the best role model but better than some.I grew up listening to her and she has made my mother the woman she is today. Strong and independent and full of love,hurt,and life for her children. It is none of our b/i how many kids she has,or who is her kids,because at the end of the day they not yours. also,for all the lil chicks on here who don’t have kids and don’t know how it feels to have them- YALL CAN’T SAY NOTHING BOUT BAD MOMMAS. So, in conclusion I love all of the moms out there on the grind and taking care of theirs.

We don’t know their reasons for not marrying or what decisions they came to. But if people are going to bash Lauryn for having multiple children and not being married then they should also bash Rohan for doing the same. The way society selectively chooses to bash women for not being married and doesn’t pass the same judgment on men is disturbing and baffling.

I tried to reply to you on another post but it is ‘awaiting moderation’ as usual. Anyway point is you do not have to be white to date or get married. You are beautiful just as you are and don’t let anyone tell you differently. Anyone who can’t see that isn’t worth your time. The most powerful black man in the world (Obama) married a black woman, didn’t he? I’m sure he had his pick of white girls and we know he dated some too. I’m sure you know lots of happily married black women so don’t a few hateful comments affect you like that. You’re stronger than that.
I have nothing bad to say about Lauryn. I don’t get why other people do, it’s her life and I relate and identify with many of her emotional ups and downs. I love her, she’s still beautiful and talented. I’m always happy to see a recent pic of her and her kids. Beautiful.

Micah sure does resemble his other siblings very closely doesn’t he? I too think, seeing him up cloe now, that he belongs to Rohan.

Can’t a child resemble her siblings if they share the same mum and different dad, why is it that if it’s the same dad and different mum it’s always oh dont they look alike etc etc. I think a child can look alike with any sibling it doesnt matter if it’s maternal or peternal half sibling. So this child could have a different dad so what, they have the same mum and look alike, thats because they have same genes.
The baby looks like he’s siblings b/c they share the same mother lol. One sibling can look like mom, the other look like dad but they will still look alike
It probably was Lauryn’s choice not to marry. She just wanted the Bob Marley connection anyway. Rohan was married to his 1st wife, i’m sure he has no problem committing. The Brazilian woman probably told him she’s not gonna settle just being a girlfriend/baby mama & wanted to get married.
Oh she got the Marley connection alright – Baby Momma status with a zillion mouths to feed….. Great job SILLY GIRL!

In my opinion, he resembles Rohan quiet a bit..more so than he resembles Lauryn.

Beautiful family!!! I wonder if the boys visiting the Marley museum with Lauryn’s kids are her baby Micah’s siblings? The boy in the burgundy shirt especially looks like baby Micah’s twin. Micah is a cutie pie.

Let me ask a question? Who’s to say that just because ur parents r married u get to see how a good relationship/marriage works. My mother was married to my father and I couldn’t wait for to leave him! I’d rather have 1 of her than 50 of him marriage isn’t for everyone and I wish people start to realize that!
Maybe your experience isn’t the norm – my parents were married for 48 yrs, and it was the opposite. Folks usually don’t stick around for 50 if they are bad together….

Who has 6 children nowadays? *raises hand* Well, I do. Is there some kind of limit to a number of children a woman should have? Quite a few women in my community have 5, 6, and 7 children. So unless you’re living under a rock, there are a lot of couples who are still having big families.
Same thing happened to a friend of ours’ son. Ran crazy for White women, then was shocked one girl’s parents called him the N word & told him to leave their property. Oh, this was in ’11.
