GALLLERY: YOUNG STARS AT THE ‘LET IT SHINE’ LOS ANGELES PREMIERE
Teen stars Tyler James Williams, Coco Jones, and Trevor Jackson pose at Disney’s ‘Let It Shine’ Premiere held on June 5, 2012 in Los Angeles, California. Other young stars at the event included Yara Shahidi, Terrell Ransom Jr, Zendaya Coleman, Madison Pettis, Lela Brown, Brandon Mychal Smith, to name a few. Let It Shine is Disney’s latest installment in their long line of inspirational movies that are fun for the entire family. The movie stars Coco Jones, Tyler James Williams, and Trevor Jackson.
In the movie, Cyrus, played by Tyler James Williams, is an aspiring musician that enters a contest with a song that he writes about an old friend, Roxanne, played by Coco Jones. Too shy to perform the song himself, Cyrus lets his best friend Kris, played by Trevor Jackson perform and take credit for the song. Cyrus stands by and watches his friend receives credit for his music and gain the interest of Roxanne. Cyrus must break free of his shyness and learn to take the credit that he knows is long overdue(Read More).
Let It Shine will premiere Friday, June 15th @8pm ET/PT on the Disney Channel.

Victoria, yes that is true but lisa was asking about Terrell Ransom Jr and Trevor Jackson, who are actually god brothers but are of no biological relation.
Guess I just assumed that she’d conclude that the two she was asking about weren’t brothers, seeing as I didn’t include one of their names. Next time I’ll be more clear.
Terrell and Trevor are “god brothers” so they have known each other for years and they probably treat each other like real brothers but biological relation, there is none. Just really great friendship between them and their families.
All these kids are gorgeous and so talented. Can’t wait to see the movie.
