PARIS TALKS WEARING MASKS, HER TEENAGE BROTHER, AND MORE
Paris Jackson,14, didn’t understand why her father made her wear a mask in public when she was younger, but now she knows why Michael Jackson went to great lengths to keep her identity a secret. “Our dad would want our face to be covered so [when] we went out without him, we wouldn’t be recognized and we could have a normal childhood,” said Paris in an exclusive interview with Oprah Winfrey.
The Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys star also opened up about her late father’s parenting tactics and her favorite places to go with siblings Blanket,9, and Prince Michael,15. “Our dad was a really normal father when he was with us,” said Paris, “We would get grounded if we did something bad. He would ground us. He wouldn’t call it grounding; he’d just say, ‘You’re on punishment.’ Sometimes we’d be on punishment a lot. Mostly me and Blanket, because me and Blanket would always fight.” When not fighting, “Chuck E. Cheese and Toys ‘R’ Us were our favorite places to go.”
Although Blanket and Paris had many disagreements in their younger years, the two are closer than ever before. “Prince has started to drift off; he’s a teenager, he’s a teenage boy, he’s gonna do that. But me and Blanket have found a lot of things in common, more things than I thought we did, so me and him have gotten a lot closer,” explained the teen.

I see you’ve been reading the latest news. I think Jermain & Randy trying to gain control of MJ’s estate so they can run through it. But then I read Janet is behind her mother needing rest. So maybe something is going on with Katherine. IDk, but these kids are not in Katherine’s care which will explain Paris rather grown comments on Twitter. Diana Ross has been named as care giver as well, maybe it’s time she stepped in. It’s getting downright ridiculous, isn’t it?
Hi Sherley. Hope all is well with you. I agree with you and it seems as though MJ’s kids have been abandoned and they are all three still legally minors. I heard that the Sheriff went to the house at some point. I hope the kids don’t end up in foster care through CPS.
That would be a tragedy and a travisty.

Lionel is naturally fairer than Michael was. And, shade of skin and hair color aside, his daughter ACTUALLY HAS his features (same jaw).

By making them wear masks he brought more attention towards them. It was a media tactic gone wrong.
Go watch the Ellen interview. She actually said he told them that.

It’s well known that was the intention anyway. And the idea for the masks was not Michael’s idea. It was Debbie’s. But when Blanket was born, he stuck to it. I’m glad he died. He did a good job keeping their faces out of the spotlight.
She said she realized he was protecting her back on Ellen, too. This is not news. Oprah asked the same question and got the same answer.

Uhm Prince said this exact same reason the last time they were interviewed by Oprah. How do you know MJ never told them the reason? They said previously he told them, but they just didn’t understand the reason because they were young but now that they’re older they understand thse things better. It’s just you assuming that MJ never told them why they need to wear the mask. They have told in other interviews how he would talk to them about these sorts of things all the time. Also the reason would not even be hard to decipher if you consider the fact that they only wore the mask when out with their father and that he has always said how he wanted them to have privacy and a normal childhood.
Some people are so judgemental on how people decide to live their lives and raise their kids. Unless it is harming you and your family, let it go. I pray for these kids especially because I hurt for them to turn out being “hollywood’s experiment”

Nice to see they are doing well. Would love to hear her and her brothers address the issue of them not “looking black”. I’m sure they have a lot to say regarding that.
Paris has already addressed this. She knows she’s his biological daughter. Jermaine Jackson also addressed this in his book. He said the children know they are biologically Michael’s and that Prince has vitiligo like Michael did. Plenty of biracial children have features like Paris.
Jermaine said those things in a time when he was controlled by the green eyed monster, jealousy…he also said MJ bleached his skin, but we now know that that MJ had vitiligo all along. Jermaine has since grown up and recanted what he said then. PS, those kids are too smart, they wouldnt believe theyre black if they really were not. & why would the mother say theyre mixed long after the father is dead? what can she gain by keeping up a “charade”? My own family resembles theirs, so If they say theyre black, I can easily believe. No one has to take my word for it, but Iknow it happens. Any doubters can Research the Biggs family
Jermaine and Michael were not close for a LONG time. Jermaine has said a lot of things that don’t add up. But in his most recent book he pointed out that the children know Michael is their biological father and that Prince had inherited vitiligo from Michael.
No plenty do not.
Jermaine has said a LOT of things that are full of crap. He and Michael were not close there in the last decade or more, and that was obvious. I believe he didn’t even meet Michael’s oldest until he was over a year old.
But Jermaine DID say in his book that the children are all Michael’s biological children, and he confirmed that Prince has vitiligo like Michael had. Normally I don’t believe much that Jermaine says, but since I can see Prince’s vitiligo with my own eyes and several, SEVERAL sources have confirmed it, I believe it. And I have always believed that Michael’s kids are biologically his, because where I live, it is not uncommon at all to see mixed-race children who look plain white. Blonde hair, blue eyes, pale skin. Not at all uncommon. And none of Michael’s kids have those features. Before you say Paris has blue eyes, she has green eyes, not blue, same shade as Joe’s.
Paris is growing into a beautiful young lady. I can’t imagine what this time of year is like for her and her brothers. Can’t believe the 25th of this month will be 3 years since Michael died.
And they are still doing interviews and tribute’s about it.
