And the GRAMMY goes to…Navy and twins London and Christian! Producer Terius Nash, a.k.a. The Dream, lets his kids hold his awards while he snaps a candid of his team.
Terius recently asked Twitter fans to define fatherhood. He then commented, “There’s no definition of a great father. Is it time? Is it support? I only seen my father two times in my life yet my children are blessed and want for nothing. What is a great father? Is it the father who spends every second with his child? Is it the father who thinks of his child everyday? Does a father’s work suffice in a world where families are without? What about the men that serve this country daily who won’t see their children. Is that a great father? I believe so and a great man. There are many ways a man’s duty as a father can be noted. Either a great father is doing with the intention and EFFORT to do what is best for a child and their future. What is a great father. A protector [and] a provider, right?”
The rapper concluded, “We don’t really know until we are fathers ourselves. It takes a life for a life to know what a great Father is. The only pain my children will feel will be the pain whispered to them. In time, hopefully years from now, my children will say, ‘My Father took me with him.’ I salute all fathers even those who haven’t [gotten] a chance to prove it yet. This life is long and u will get your chance as well. My love and heart goes out to the fathers. And the fathers to be and the great women and men that made them. Cheers.”
Navy,7, London,6, and Christian,6, are The Dream’s children with singer Nivea. He also has a child with singer/actress Christina Milian.

I remember when she was pregnant with Navy because she(Nivea) made a video she didnt look pregnant at all…. next week she had Navy…. I saw a couple of pictures of her (the little girl navy)with her mom and dad when she was first born and a beautiful photo of her and her dad at a basketball game…. now the twin boys came out of nowhere…. this my first time ever seeing them…. ever…. they are all adoreable…. the little boy that nivea and lil wayne looks like her twin.
I actually think the girl and boy on the right both look like The Dream and the boy in the blue looks just like Nivea. I had to Google Nivea to see her features since I forgot and the boy in blue is a spitting image of her. Beautiful children nonetheless.

This is the first picture of the twins.Nivea never shows then they are so cute. Navy and the boy on the right look so much a like.! They look like Nivea. The other one and Violet look alike and like the Dream. Neal looks exactly like a Carter lol just like Wayne. They are all cute though.
Those kids are very good looking…SMH at anyone acting as if financial support is an adequate substitute for hands on parenting. Children don’t feel less neglected because mom gets enough money from dad to pay the light bill and put food on the table. Children don’t think along those lines. Those are adult problems. They care about not seeing their dad. They care about him missing things important to them. They care about not spending time. Child support doesn’t absolve one of the rest of our parental obligations. Emotional security can’t be bought. Dream’s excuses are as bad as his albums. God bless all the kids whose dads don’t care to make time for them.
It sounds like he’s making excuses for not making time for his children (from this and the other comments he’s made recently). “I’m working!” People find time to do what they want to do. When he’s off on the beach, he’s not working but we’ve seen plenty out of shape beach photos of him.

I met my girl in college, SIU, then we got married and a few years later had two kids. We got a house we just bought. I got a degree and she has two degrees, we have careers. Men need to stop treating women like objects and start being true families. I am a man and I see too many women get with losers and have babies, please ladies, wait for a healthy marriage , kids do better. Don’t waste your time on these bums. You are worth so much mire!

He was only married to Nivea for three years and Christina for 3 or 5 months. You don’t get points just for saying I Do. Plus he was a douche to both of them when the relationships ended.
True, however, he still was married to those women. Saying I do doesn’t t give you a pass but he did say it. Besides, it seems to me Dream has an issue as soon as children are born. JMO
Oh now you don’t get points for saying “I Do”?!?! Yet when they don’t say “I Do” they’re criticized for accepting being baby mamas, making babies all over the place, and for not “doing things right” by getting married first… Yeah, ok.

I was responding to Brenda’s “You don’t get points just for saying I Do”. But I’m not going to assume that Dream, Nivea, Christina, or anyone else has anything but good/long-term intentions when they marry. That’s just me.

I hear you, but how can one get married for everlasting love if you’ll file for divorce 72 days or 3 months later? Marriage is work & one fight for true love, especailly after you say I do. How much fight has one done if it took less than 6mnths to file for divorce? That’s all I’m saying.

I like what The Dream wrote. A father can be in its kids life & not actually be a great father. But if the man is out there working, providing for the kid then he’s doing a great thing. i think he put that out there b/c Christina been throwing little shots/sub tweets on tweeter about fathers. I think that’s kind of childish when you can just call the man up & tell him how you feel. he was w/ these 3 for father’s day but didn’t have violet? He even posted pics of his father’s day party & Nivea got a great cake made for him
