Diggy Simons, 17,  is not only known for his skills as an emcee, but also for his ability to stay focused and appreciative of his fans. In a recent interview, he talked about how he feels about the love that his fans constantly show him, saying, “I’m just thankful that they care that much and they want to go that hard, and they feel a part of this journey enough to really just support that way.”

Although Diggy is just one of the many talented “Simmons” in his long lineage of hip-hop royalty, he doesn’t want to be on the wing of anyone else’s coattails. He has made a huge effort to gain his success all on his own and with his own skills.  He said, “Man, my dad, he’s not even involved in my project whatsoever…I never wanted to go up to him and be like, ‘Hey, Dad, could you get my music to somebody?’ so that was the reason why I wanted to take it into my own hands.”
