ERIC BENET TALKS ABOUT LUCIA’S LULLABY
Eric Benet is a proud father who lets parenthood shine through his writing. The singer recently talked about his new song, ‘Here In My Arms,’ which he wrote especially for six-month-old daughter Lucia.
Eric sings on the track, “The moon up above such a marvel to see, the stars cause a heavenly sky. But none could compare as you drift off to sleep to the glow from the light of your smile. Of all of the loves I have known near and far, the best is right here in my arms.”
“['Here In My Arms'] was a melody I would sing to Manuela when Lucia was still in Manuela’s universe. I would sing to her, and when she was born, I would sing it, and I just thought it would be great to put some lyrics to this song. And I thought it would be great if my wife helped me with those lyrics. It’s [a] very soothing, loving and comforting song, and it puts Lucia right to sleep,” Benet tells Yahoo news.
Lucia’s lullaby will be included on Benet’s newest project called The One, which also features his oldest daughter India. Lucia is Eric and Manuela’s first child together.

What ? Eric is so proud of India, anytime he’s interviewed he tells how great she is, how good she is doing in college and music… you’re defintelty not a Benet fan otherwise you’d know that. Don’t worry, Eric seems to be a very good father, and love both of his girls !

And yes, Eric always mentions India and her musical talent that’s why she’s on his latest Album “The One”, number #5 on Billboard R&B and Independent Album Chart and was #1 iTune download. The song is called Musik. Yeaitsme is right India is 20 yr old and doesn’t need to compete w/ an 6 mo old.
What are u talking about? Eric have always been in pics with his daughter India. If you read….u will see her name mentioned up top also. Peeps always making a mountain out of a molehill, jeez.
Eric seems to be such a loving and caring father! His girls r blessed to have him as he’s blessed to have them!
WHAT ABOUT HIS OTHER DAUGHTER? WHERE IS SHE AND WHY HASNT HE NOT MENTIONED HER? I THINK SHE IS DOING WELL IN COLLEGE OR SOMETHING..
It doesn’t apply in this case but it drives me crazy when men fawn over the kids from their second marriage rarely mentioned 1st set of kids. An example Tom Cruise he talks about Suri like he is a new father despite the fact that hes been a father for 20 years.
