IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: BLUE IVY CARTER IS AN OFFICIAL CITIZEN OF HVAR
At just 5-moths-old, Blue Ivy Carter has dual citizenship. The little one was recently deemed an honorary citizen of the island of Hvar by Mayor Pjerino Bebic.
“The story of the origin of the name of your daughter has brought enormous media attention and therefore tourist promotion to the town and island of Hvar. Because of this, I have decided to confer on your daughter the status of honorary citizen of the town of Hvar,” says Bebic.
Citizenship comes after Blue’s parents visited the Croatian destination last year where they discovered a beautiful blue ivy tree. “We woke up this morning, took a nice little walk, passed by this beautiful blue tree. I think it’s Blue Ivy, which would be quite appropriate,” said Blue’s mom, singer Beyonce Knowles.
The Carter family are currently in Europe supporting dad Jay-Z’s overseas tour.

Ook can we see a current photo of Blue? I know they don’t want to sell any pics of the baby like past celebs have done but at least let us see how she looks. Has she started to look more like Jay or she still looking like B??
How did it come about that was the reason behind BIC’s name? Either way, that’s very nice of them, however, no offer to the parents? BIC can’t come without at least one of them.

She is a GREAT mixture of both her parents…she has Bey’s complexion but some of Jay’s features stand out…A BEAUTIFUL little girl nontheless. I hope Bey knows how to do some hair cuz this little Princess has ALOT of it…LOL!!
I call her Blanket Carter because Bee always has here covered up, like Michael did with his Blanket, LOL. In that one pic, she looks so much like her Mom, though.
She is a cutie, and I would like to see more recent pics too!lol…everybody is saying the same thing. I bet she is spoiled rotten,especially by J’s mother and grandmother:)

She just a baby for crying out loud. Why are they acting like this baby is made out of gold? She is no diff from any other baby that was born, no more special.
She’s special because of who her parents are and the dollar value they bring to anyone in their circle.

That’s a great honor to bestow citizenship on a foreigner like that. Hvar is a beautiful island in Croatia I hope Bey & Jay take her there soon to meet and greet.
Blue’s a cutie! I wanna see new pics though! This baby is accomplshing so much without even knowing it lol! She has broken twitter records, she’s the youngest person ever to be on a Billboard chart list, she was number 86 on the Women Who Rock List (lol shes not even a teenager yet and certainly not a woman) and now she has been given honorary citizenship of an island! Wow Blue Ivy how do you do it girl? lol!
