THE BIG KIDS’ FILE: SKYE TOWNSEND’S ‘GO FISH’ TACKLES ABUSE

Skye Townsend has joined forces with Karina Pasian and Chris O’Bannon to speak out against abusive relationships. Skye’s new song, “Go Fish!”, is one way that she’s using her musical gifts to speak out. The video, directed by Skye and her father Robert Townsend, is meant to leaving a lasting impression on anyone that is in a negative relationship.
The eighteen year old singer says,”As young people, we often excuse domestic violence because of how familiar it has become. Go Fish! is a record that encourages anybody who feels stuck to find other ‘fish in the sea’. I hope that at least one person will open their eyes after seeing this video and realize that things can and WILL get better.”
A little over a month ago, Skye released her debut EP “Vomit” and it is quickly becoming a success.

Very good video, I agree with the message. Good that young people are aware of this.
Alright I love the concept! Being abused by anyone at anytime is absolutely unacceptable! Go Skye hopefully someone will learn something from this.
