AMANDLA POSES FOR V MAGAZINE
“The Hunger Games” star Amandla Stenberg,14, poses for V Magazine’s upcoming “Youthquake” issue. The young actress was among the many stars to be photographed by legendary megastar Drew Barrymore for the fun magazine spread.
In the issue, Amandla talks about landing a role in film The Hunger Games. “When my agent called to tell me I was going to play Rue, I literally started running around the room and hyperventilating. I kept shouting, ‘I’m Rue, I’m Rue!’” she says. “My mother had to get me a glass of water and tell me to take deep breaths. We have it all on tape. It’s funny to watch.”
Also featured in the issue is Victoria Justice, Nicole Laliberte, Isabelle Fuhrman, Maika Monroe, Taissa Farmiga, and Haley Bennett.

Keep up the good work Amandla…and that goes to ALL the up & coming tween / teen stars. I’m here to support our young stars of today & tomorrow. Know one should be singled out. (EVER!!) I think certain people who post negative comments (not gonna mention HER name) should really evaluate their lives and take the time to get educated on what’s important. Being a fool or having awesome values. SMH.
Agree 100%. SOMEONE is really starting to get annoying favouring some kids at the expense of others. It’s ok to have favourites but to post negative comments about kids is LOW. btw That SOMEONE is the opposite of me.
Don’t waste your time, for some the only way to relieve their own sorrows is to bring it upon others. Just pat those types of people on their heads & tell them it’ll be ok.
