PILAR TALKS ABOUT BEING A ROLE MODEL FOR HER KIDS
Pilar Sanders is a model and actress who is best known for her roles in ‘The Mod Squad’ (1999) and ‘Streets of Blood’ (2009). The mother of three recently spoke with Hello Beautiful about parenting and the legacy she hopes to leave behind.

Serving as mom and role model.
“I believe role models should indeed be those closest to you and who do the most for you. I believe hands on mothers, as myself, have so much influence on our babies. It’s amazing. We shape their thoughts, behaviors their character; we give them a point of reference for love, respect and life in general! There’s nothing more precious and needed than mommies.”
How Pillar teaches her boys to respect women.
“My boys were beginning to treat my daughter and every female around them how they saw my husband treat me and it broke my heart! I had to immediately confront this behavior and consistently bring truth to what they were doing and as to what they witnessed. Removing them from the situation was seemingly impossible because the help I sought were [as I later found out] a part of the problem as well. I am still in the process of removing my children from having to witness such disrespect and male chauvinism but unfortunately the courts take their time and don’t always choose to look at the truth that is presented before them. I continually speak with my children and they are coming along. I know they love their sister, their mommy and women, it’s important for me to keep them level headed.”
How she’d like to be remembered.
“[I'd like to be remembered] for the amazing love I have for my babies, my family, women and people in general. For how I see life, love God and how my Health, Fitness and Beauty teachings help change the lives of children, women and families across the world.”

Deion was happy as long as Pilar was his prize HOUSEWIFE!! When she decided to get her a life he stated IF he wanted a working woman he would have MARRIED one!! He doesn’t want her to do anything but take care of them kids and lay on her back. To some woman that may be all fine. You do you Mrs P. and get you some of them $$$’s on your won…. I do agree the mud slinging is CHILDISH!!
She may be unhappy with Deion and vice versa but mud slinging to the media is tacky, period. You have children and they should come to your mind before you speak. This goes for all ADULTS in this family.
I’m happy she is wanting to explore options that make her known and interesting; her fitness and beauty.
Funny thing is, Pilar looked perfectly happy on their reality show. If she were “mistreated” she should’ve left years ago. Folks kill me. SMH
I could only imagine the foolishness those poor kids had to witness I’m sure Pilar is a good mom, but in order to be a good role model to your kids, you must be careful what they see YOU do!

The kids look just like their Dad. That must drive Pilar nuts nowadays! When she looks at them everyday she has to see Deion in them.

Didn’t know she had a career before being Deion’s wife… I think Deion is probably a jerk, but they’ve both behaved like selfish dingbats. I feel for their children.

A lot of criticism has been thrown at Pilar, but I support her. She’s a good mother, and honestly I think Deon is really tripping. Some things are better handled privately
