CREE TAKES HIS FIRST STEPS!
Cree is making his mark in the world. The 1-year-old recently took his first steps, and made mom Tia Mowry-Hardrict proud. “Guess who’s walking!! #proudmomma,” Tia tweeted.
This week, the actress shared a blog in which she addressed her hesitancy in allowing her sister, Tamera Mowry-Housley, to babysit Cree. “It’s not that I think she’s incapable of doing it,” said Tia. “I’m a new mom. I think new moms tend to be overly cautious about things and we tend to think that the only person who can take care of our baby to the best of their ability is yourself! That’s where I was. [But] I realized that Tamera is Cree’s auntie and she will take just as much good care of him as I would.”
Tamera and her husband, Adam Housley, are expecting their first child to arrive later this year. Cree is Tia and Cory Hardrict’s first child together.

I’m all for having “your own opinion” BUT judging ppl that you do not know on a personal basis is too much for me! I actually LOVE their show. They both seem very genuine and have very different personalities which I love. I look forward to seeing them every Monday.
its a difference from being hesitant and being crazy..leaving a spy camera for your SISTER is beyond me..do you think she is going to do something that untrustworthy to your baby? her nephew? unless she know somethings about her twin that we dont, putting a spy cam is extreme
If he’s one, why is he just now started to walk?
Quite frankly, I don’t care for either of them. Their show seems staged and honestly, I don’t know if either of them has the “better personality”. Cree is so adorable and chunky (the best kind of baby)!!
I watch this show. Tamera annoys me at times. and they laugh the same and the laugh is both annoying and contagious. Lol, its crazy how she gets critized for having a nanny when she goes to auditions, but from what I see on the show, she takes her child everywhere she go, even on the set. who would you prefer watch cree while she is on set. the concrete? So duh she has a nanny, but I bet you all watch that dumb nanny show on abc family, with mothers who dont do anything but spend their husbands money. Well thats just my opinion.

When I first had my first daughter, no one was allowed near her & if she couldn’t go somewhere I didn’t go. Not even my mother nor her father could watch her. It’s just an super overprotective thing that SOME new mommies go thru. Now with my newly born twins that are 5 weeks old now, sometimes I’m like “Pleaseeeee take them all for a few” or “it’s daddy time” lol but I’m still cautious with my own twin sister b/c everything is a game to her & she’s takes nothing serious. Like when she let my oldest fall & she needed 4 stitches in her head she says ” oh well she’s not dead yet” & laughed. Tia honestly might think that Tamera at that point played around too much but just my own experience & opinion.

I truly understand where she is coming from to a degree when I was a first time mother I was very protective. My mother is good with kids, and it wasn’t until my son was about 5 months did she watch him. I was like that with everyone though you just want to protect your kids. I had a hard time letting home go to daycare boy was I worried. I mean he was old enough to talk so that made me much more comfortable. When he first went to kindergarten I was nervous. But eventually I eased up, and now he is 15, and going to the 10th grade. And I can’t wait to get rid of him, lol.

@ Ms. Sherley…I would have to say a NANNY is EXPERIENCED. Tamera is using Cree as her practice child so I understand where Tia’s concerns are. Why does she get under your skin because she is protective of her son?? I don’t understand. I’m sure Tamera will be the same way but maybe not because Tia already has a baby…we’ll just have to wait and see.
So an experienced nanny doesn’t make mistakes? An experienced nanny doesn’t cause harm to children? Tia is her twin sister, she will never purposely hurt Cree..he’s her nephew, for goodness sake. Tia using Cree as practice huh? So I guess Tamera is using Cree as practice as well since he’s her first child. *roll eyes*. Tamera has been getting on my nerves ever since 2nd season of The Game, way before she became pregnant with Cree. She has this attitude like she thinks she’s better than her sister. She needs a reality check.
I think your getting Tia and Tamera confused. Tia was the one on the game. Tamera is the one babysitting.

@ Legacy…I wasn’t insulted when my sister was just as overprotective with her first baby! OMG! You couldn’t even touch him without washing your hands THEN using hand sanitizer!! Tia is a new mom so you can expect her to be protective with her baby. How many of us have TRUSTED family and family harmed our kids..not to say Tamera would but I understand how Tia feels.

Tia is worried about her twin sister babysitting her own nephew but does not hesitate to allow nannies to do it?! She is starting to get under my skin. She’s turning into her Mel character something aweful. Tamera has always been the twin with most sense to me anyway.

I watched the show one time & Tia irked the mess out of me, but Tamera & her hubby were cute. I wont watch the show again though. I’m with you on Jennifer Hudson, but Christina Milan? What does she do besides was a ‘never was’ (cthu) & complains about Dream?
You just listed why Christina irks me! Lol. She’s just so irrelevant and seems to serve no purpose in the entertainment industry, yet she won’t go away.

Wow…I love Tia & Tamera but that is kinda crazy that you will not allow your twin sister (who is getting ready to have her own child) to babysit your son. REALLY!! I could see it if Tia took care of Cree 24/7, but she hires nannies. If I was Tamera, I would actually be really insulted.
Actually, tamera was not expecting when she was babysitting cree. And thats not only her child, but it is her first child, so I am sure it is hard for any parent to let them be with someone else. Family or not. Just because thats her sister does not mean that gets rid of her anxiety of allowing her child to be away from her.
