NIA LONG AND SON CAMPAIGN FOR OBAMA

Nia Long and son Massai,11, flex their political muscles at “Obama For America” weekend campaign blitz. Nia, who has met the President on two separate occasions, was glad to give support to Mr. Obama.

“I’ve been a supporter of President Obama from day one and for me, this time around I have that moment in my life … I looked up and I thought to myself, my grandmother is 93-years-old, she suffers from Alzheimer’s, my mother is in her 60′s and I have an 11-year-old and a 7-month-old. I want to make sure they have the proper health car as they start to get older. My son will start going to college in less than 10 years. All of the issues that President Obama is working on have more relevance to my life than ever before,” said Long.

The actress recently told Essence magazine that she enjoys motherhood with all of its challenges. “Motherhood is not easy, but it’s natural,” said Nia. “I worked hard to have the career I wanted, but I’ve also been deliberate about my personal life. None of this is a mistake.”

I like the fact she has some concern because it is relevant but when ever you receive an ah hah moment it is good. I agree with most of his platform and the positive most certainly outways the smalls.

I love looking at Massai. For some odd reason, he appears like Kile Glover in the 1st pic.

Yes, it’s the glasses probably. =[
      They look a little alike.

She’s a great influence on her son. Having him concerned about who will make decisions for his country. Great mom.

Am i the only one who is not excited about the election this year? shrugs…

    • Jessica July 31, 2012 at 12:12 pm

I disagree, I’m extremely excited. We have to guard the change.

While I’m not as excited as I was in 2008, I’m still looking forward to Obama winning.
