NBA player Chris Bosh, his wife Adrienne Bosh, and three-month-old son Jackson pose for a family picture while in France this week. The Boshes are now in London to watch the USA play in the Olympics
The family of three recently set up residency in Texas. It was rumored that Chris decided to make the move to avoid giving more money in child support to his daughter Trinity’s mother. Sister2Sister magazine reports, “Seemingly, Chris [is] claiming residency in Texas so that he doesn’t have to pay his babymama Allison Mathis more than he’s currently giving her, which is about $2,600. Since she lost her job, though, Allison claims that amount barely covers her mortgage.”
Bosh was asked to pay $30,000 per month in child support while living in Florida, which is about 3% of Chris’ income. The case will now be heard by a Texas judge, and a decision on whether or not the Miami ‘Heat’ player will be forced to pay more than $2,600 per month will be made thereafter.

Jackson looks just like the father.
Did anyone consider that MAYBE his move to Texas had nothing to do with having to pay less child support, and MAYBE it was to be closer to his daughter so that she would have the opportunity to spend more time with her father and her baby brother? He was denied the opportunity to take his daughter to London all because the mother didn’t think it would be safe. Let’s not forget that the babymomma was also the reason he couldn’t take his daughter to the NBA Finals. She seems like a very bitter woman, who just needs to get over the fact that she will not be on Basketball Wives.

I think $30,000 is a little more than necessary for child support. Allison would be living comfortably off of that and wouldn’t need to get a job. That’s ridiculous.
Trinity just needs to be able to see her dad and for him to give her mom what’s needed to take care of her.

He only needs to give as much as necessary to support his daughter. The only thing sad about this is Trinity won’t have as much experiences with her dad as her brother. She’ll probably miss out on a lot. Sad when your parents aren’t together. =[ It’s not exactly anyone’s faults though. Life sucks sometimes.

im not on nobody sides but come he is a basketball player not your everyday worker he makes money.. Child Support means the child is to be taking care of not only for the child… most women dont understand.yes, he is married so of course she will be taken care of but the baby mother should get the same treatment….half rent,water,lights that is part of child support etc…of course she should work but she needs her part 2400 or 30000 she needs her part..

Wives & husbands will always get treated better than baby mothers & fathers. They are the main ones dealing with the party on an every day basis. People need to focus more on being wives & husbands for a few years prior to having children. see if you can stand the person first, because once you have the kid..you are stuck.

Jackson is so adorable, love that smile on his little face. This has got to be one of the best dressed families lol. They look nice. I’m sure baby girl would have liked to go on the trip w/ her daddy & baby brother, but her mom is not giving bosh much time w/ her.
Bosh is from Texas. That’s where he grew up, so most likely he has family there. it is ASSUMED he moved there to avoid paying MORE child support. Many athletes live in the city of their team during the season, but move back to their hometown during the off season. Nothing wrong w/ him purchasing a house close to his fam.
If Chris has to pay more child support, i think it should be put in a savings account for the little girl b/c i believe the mother is not managing the money well. Chris does a lot of his daughter. On top of the child support, he pays for everything concerning her like her health care, schooling, extracurricular activities, etc. Plus he gave his ex $250k (which could have been used to buy a house in full, so why fore closure?) & offered to give her more money monthly if she went back to school to earn a degree & get a better job (she declined). I don’t think Bosh is getting the credit he deserves

I hate women who depend on men to take care of them. If he offered to pay for her to go back to school, then she should have taken advantange of that and maybe he would have given even more. She should show some kind of initiative to better herself instead of basing everything on the money Chris makes. He’s gona take of his daughter no matter what.

Idk how true that is but $30k a month, which equates to $360,000 annually is nothing when you make 18 million a year. I hope the judge does right by Trinity. Jackson is a cutie, but I can do without pics of the parents for a long time. What does Adrianne do anyway?

But why does she need $360,000 a year for child support? Even the cost of clothing, education (private school), food, water, help with shelter shouldn’t cost that much? That man makes his own money and I’m sure he spoils his children with it but why does mom need a free pass on working? I know CEOs of small corps who don’t take hime $360,000!?
I didn’t say she needed $360k a year. I said when one makes $18 mil a year, $360k is nothing to stress over. I’m sure they spend that much on a car &/or shopping trips in a blink of an eye. What Trinity’s mother needs a month to survive needs to come from her as she needs to provide for Trinity as well. But Bosh can’t act like losing $360k a yr will kill him.
Its called CHILD Support not adult support. The father of my child makes well over a 100k a year and i’ve never put him on child support cause he does what he’s suppose to do which is take care of his child. Regardless of how much money he makes it is not for her to depend on his earning to make a living. He already gave her $250,000 for a house he sold that they co owned less then two years ago and shes still beging. it is not bosh’s job to take of her that’s her job if she wants to live high class then she needs to get a career that makes high class money and i mean not basketball wives, because that show is fading.
That’s not prudent at all, hopefully in the future you don’t regret not going through the appropriate legal avenues.

Oan : 2600 is enough FOR TRINITY. Not to help pay her mortgage. Thats y its called CHILD SUPPORT not mother support. The money is for the child !!! Females tend to get that part wrong !
Preach!! When I read about that not covering her mortgage I was like hmmm its not “mortgage support.” Just because you had a child with an athlete doesn’t mean they have to support your cost of living… just their child’s. Mommy should be able to handle somethings financially dependent of Daddy.
You clearly have no legal knowledge; child support in fact does extend to mortgage payments. The entire purpose is to lessen the disparity of the less monied custodial parent. What the former woman is demanding is not completely irrational. Your statement is.
Now see, you are incorrect. Child support takes into income earnings only. They based how much both parents earn & the expenses they would share if they were together for the child..child care, educational expenses, medical expenses, body guards, nannies..divide it equally & whichever parent earns more, pays more. I have girlfriends who only get $34 a week in child support. Never have I seen mortgage payments, car payments, gas & electrical bills, water bills, pool & lawn guy maintenance counted. I do agree that the amount she should receive will not harm Bosh.
Child Support extends to the welfare of a child including residents. 30,000.00 sounds steep yet take in the fact that it is 3% of his income. This child will have and should be offered the lifestyle that her father can afford. Security will be needed as well as private school and other expenses. Medical coverage, etc. This is not right the fact he is trying to dodge a bullet and claim residence in another state. What message does it send to his child. You will lieave on a floor and your mother will have every wimper satisfied. Not right. You can trust he is not raising that other child on a low budget.
