Young Marqus, 12, is currently living out something that many young entertainment hopefuls only dream about. He is performing his own music in front of thousands of screaming fans!  The young rapper is the opening act for Mindless Behavior’s #1 Girl Tour, which kicked off in Detroit, Michigan on July 26th at the Fox Theater.

Luckily for Young Marqus, he’s becoming a pro at being center stage so he knows how to handle the pre-performance jitters. He was the opening act for Lupe Fiasco’s “Generation LASERS ” Tour last year.

“I’m getting to experience the best of both worlds. Last year I was performing for mostly adults when I was with Lupe Fiasco, and now this year I get a chance to connect with people in my age group. It’ll definitely be a different experience, but I’m excited to get the chance to further connect with an audience that looks just like me.” Young Marqus says.
