SPOTTED: ALICIA KEYS AND CREW
Singer Alicia Keys, her brother, her son Egypt,2, and her bonus son Kasseem Dean Jr,5, were spotted taking a stroll in Soho on August 17th. The working mom made sure to pay close attention to baby Egypt who raced ahead in New York City.
Mrs Keys recently announced the title of her new album, Girl on Fire. In a blog post, Alicia writes, “I’m in the studio right now working away on my new album and I am so excited . . . let me just say before making this record, in some ways I felt like a lion locked in a cage. I felt like a girl misunderstood that no one really knew. I felt like it was time to stop making excuses for any part of my life that I wanted to change. Once I made that choice I became a Girl on Fire — the lion broke free.”

I’m with you on that one PlainMean. Both boys seem to far away from them on the streets on NY. Although, SOho is probably one of the safest villages in NY.
Yes and no Sherley about Soho. From the look of how many people are out on the street when this pic was taken it was probably when the stores first opened because down there it tends to get super crowded esp on the weekends and since its right by chinatown on canal street. I go down there once in the blue with my daughter and I have to make sure she is at the hip just because of the crowds.
I feel you, but you didn’t disprove that SoHo is one of the safest neighborhoods in Manhattan. It does get very crowded & children should always be at arms length regardless of how safe the neighborhood is or how many bodyguards one has.

ooh, it’s very nerve wrecking to see kids this far away from their mom. But, at least they are in front of her. I have seen too many cases of the mother a half block up the street and the kids are trailing way behind and her head is turned away or she’s on the phone. But I see Alicia has a goon on duty in case something goes awry.
Stop being so critical…Ya’ll are the same byatches that trashed Gabby’s hair. Get a life and stop scoping on other people’s.
