THE BIG KIDS’ FILES: TYLER JAMES WILLIAMS ATTENDS ‘NYLON GUYS’ EVENT
Nineteen-year-old Tyler James Williams attended an event for NYLON Guys and Macy’s INC on August 15th in Santa Monica, California. The popular magazine hosted the event as a celebration of the upcoming September issue.
Tyler will soon be starring alongside “Friends” star Matthew Perry in the new NBC sitcom “Go On” where he plays Owen. Owen, along with Matthew’s character, Ryan, are in a support group that helps them deal with their individual personal losses.
Tyler also recently starred in the hit Disney movie, “Let It Shine.” When asked about his preference for movie acting versus television acting during his exclusive chat with Blackcelebkids.com, Tyler responded, “I think it’s the length of time you have to prepare. When you get into a series, you know, every week is a new episode so you have to get efficient at preparing quickly. With the movie, we had so much time, not only for rehearsals and recording music but to really build the characters and the relationships.”
“Go On” is set to premiere on NBC on September 11th at 9/8C.

Awww! Look at him! He’s matured so much. ‘Everybody Hates Chris’ used to be my favorite show. He grew out of his little baby face. I saw an interview with him on Mo’Nique’s show. He’s very articulate and well-mannered. He’s a good kid. BCK posted info on a new series he’s starring in which should be premiering very soon. I want to watch it. I think he will be a respected actor like Denzel too. =)
I like Tyler alot . He will be up there with Denzel and Blair one day. He stands out, glad that others see that too.
I LOVE HIM…LET IT SHINE WAS SO GOOD. TYLER IS A GREAT ACTOR AND GOOD RAPPER. I HOPE TO SEE MORE OF HIM!
Nice colors on him!
Look at Tyler, trying to be grown. He is such a talented actor. I see him moving in the ranks of Denzel Washington and Don Cheadle in the future. Hopefully he will get the roles he needs to accomplish that.
I AGREE…HE IS A GOOD ACTOR. HE NEVER OVER ACT. I WANT TO SEE MORE OF HIM. HE IS ON A SHOW ON CHANNEL 5 CURRENTLY.
