NENE LEAKES IS A GRANDMOTHER
Proud grandmother NeNe Leakes cradles her 2-month-old granddaughter Bri’asia. The reality star opens up this week to In Touch Weekly about the newest addition to her family:
NeNe tells the new issue of In Touch — on newsstands now — about her shock when she discovered that her 22-year-old son, Bryson, was secretly expecting a baby with his girlfriend, Ashley Hill, 21.
“I only found out about everything because I ran into Ashley when she was more than six months along,” the Real Housewives of Atlanta star tells In Touch in an exclusive interview. “I said, ‘You look pregnant.’ And she said, ‘Hasn’t Bryson told you?’ But he hadn’t because he knew that I wouldn’t approve of him having a child so young.”
“I didn’t feel like he was ready for such a big responsibility,” she says. “I was his age when I had him, so I know how tough it is. I didn’t want him to make the same mistakes that I did. I needed to let it sink in.”
However, once little Bri’asia Bryant was born in mid-June, no-nonsense NeNe melted. “I always wanted to have a girl,” she says, “and now I have one! She’s just adorable.”

I’m thinking NeNe can create some kind of work environment for her son.. a small business maybe? Bryson will get it together, life is about trial and error.. and it takes time for some to figure out what they want, and how they gonna get it. I wish Bryson and his new family the best.

If I had a son, we’d have MAJOR problems if I found out he was gone be a daddy that way but she’s a cutie though and now Nene has a little girl to dress up & spoil like all grandmas do.

As much money as Nene makes, the parents should not have any problems providing for the baby and the baby will never want for anything!

"…the parents should not have any problems providing for that baby…" They need to work to take care of their own baby. The father or both of them better be working to give that baby everything she needs w/out having to hit up Grandma Nene every week for diaper & similac money lol
The baby is a cutie. Nene seems like the type to take over & play mommy instead of grandma, which in turn will allow her son & maybe child’s mother, depend on her to do everything.

We’re still plentyful, us old grey grandmoms, just don’t get the attention because we are the norm, like two parent homes.Sure hope the mother doesn’t let the baby spend too much time with that loud mouth horse.
