THE OBAMAS TAKE STAGE AT DNC
The Obamas took center stage at the Democratic National Convention on Thursday, September 6, 2012. Sasha and Malia waved to the crowd in the midst of confetti and applause.
The president thanked everyone for their support and reminded his daughters that they still had school in the morning. “Michelle, I love you. The other night, I think the entire country saw just how lucky I am. Malia and Sasha, you make me so proud…but don’t get any ideas, you’re still going to class tomorrow,” said the president.
Obama hopes to give youth the tools needed to be more independent in the future. The president officially accepted the democratic party’s nomination for a second term in office during the convention.
Are you chanting, “Four more years?!”

i just love my first family! i was smiling from ear to ear when they were on stage. all 3 ladies looked gorgeous. i’m gonna hunt down those dresses lol! i liked Sasha’s the most. the President is one lucky man. four more years for sure! Obama 2012, let’s get it!

Cant’t stand when people want to get an attitude just because someone doesnt agree with them. And I am trying to figure out why everytime a pic is posted, there is always something about the child hair, some people are so obsessed. All these hair experts, it amazes me. Oan: great looking family, I failed to watch the speeches, but I hope he get 4 more years. And to add, we have the most stylish first lady, EVER!!!
I love them because of how normal they are (mostly thanks to Michelle and her structured parenting). When PBO said “yes you have to go to school tomorrow,” Sasha did a little sassy face and Michelle know she saw that (I could see it in her reaction with that lean, google it the gif is too funny). I’m sure they had a little talk about it today.
I just adore them. So inspiring. DNC did a wonderful job. 4 more years.

Obviously, the public image that the First Lady is promoting through the styling of hers, her mother, and her daughter is a style of processed, straightened hair. Simple as that. Their hair is just the frosting on top of their brains inside their skulls!
The girls have worn their hair in braids and other natural styles for other occassions, but on the BIG night..Mama wants them all pressed and straightened for the family image presented to the world.
Even Grandma’s hair was laid. It is what it is.

Connie, Pisces is black, I believe. It appears she’s one of those black women who prefers relaxed hair. It’s OK, she’s entitled to have a preference. But don’t take it too personal, it doesn’t affect women who prefer natural hair. I love my soft kinky 4b\c hair as much as you love yours.
IDK what natural hair women you’ve been hanging out with but my hair is relaxer free (natural) & even when it’s lacking moisture, you can still run your fingers through it.

Mt goodness, President Obama has 3 absolutely gorgeous women in his life. No weaves, just true, natural, timeless beauty. Sasha is giving Malia a run for her money. I want both Sasha & Malia’s dresses. I love my first family. This family is the model for all families, no matter the nationality. “4 more years!!!!!”
I absolutely agree with you 1000% Shirley. Sasha is beginning to look a lot like her grandmother. Nonetheless all of them Obama women are very beautiful. I don’t know about no one else but I am chanting 4 more years!!!
