DAPHNE WAYANS TALKS KIDS AND REALITY TV

Daphne Wayans is the latest former wife of a celeb to be added to the show, ‘Hollywood Exes.’ Although many choose to participate in reality television shows to fulfill hidden agendas, the former wife of Keenan Ivory Wayans wants to be a part of ‘Hollywood Exes’ for community reasons.

“Just to spark some interest in the idea of having a sisterhood. That’s what I’m most excited about. No matter where you came from, everyone has their journey. You can share that as a commonality,” the Reality star tells RealityTea.com.

Daphne and Keenan parent five children together. As a career mom, Daphne’s goal was and continues to be to “raise good people.  One person can make a huge difference in the world, in a life, in a time.  So if I did this five times – raising very good, decent people who will go out in the world and change it and make it better, more beautiful, then that would be good.  And for them to be happy while doing all of that.”

Will her kids be tuning into the show? “I’ll let them make that decision for themselves.  They’re welcome to, but there’s no ‘must’ on doing it.”

Season two of ‘Hollywood Exes’ will premiere next year.

I only watch TI and Tiny plus Tia and Tamera but I did catch some of Hollywood Exes and it wasn’t bad so I might watch. I noticed they were together a long time but only married for three years.

Am I the only one who thinks they look alike?

      @teah,

No you are not, I thought the same thing.

I’d rather see a well written fictional drama or comedy like Luther than any reality TV show. Any day!

So with you Celeste (even though I am checking out R&B Divas lol). I liked “Luther.” A few months ago, they showed like a little marathon on Centric or one of those other channels and then they started showing it at midnight, on Centric, on weekdays but stopped. I got into it; I really enjoyed it. Of course, I support my husband Idris LOL. Yeah, come on Sherley, Celeste, and Misunderstood.:).

Idris likes everything you wrote except the husband part. lol

      • Sherley September 14, 2012 at 7:24 pm

Hold up..how I miss the husband part?! Why do yall insist on making lies about my man? I’ve allowed Celeste to do it but I’m putting my foot down on & I mean on everyone else darn it! Back up off my man!!

        • Celeste September 14, 2012 at 7:31 pm

          Tsk tsk, Sherley!

        • FashionedByGod33 September 14, 2012 at 10:18 pm

          LOL

    • Sherley September 14, 2012 at 3:24 pm

Agree with both of you. And Celeste, I still agree with you even though Idris isn’t next to me. ;)

      • Celeste September 14, 2012 at 5:44 pm

Idris is happy that you wrote that Sherley, as am I. lol

        • FashionedByGod33 September 14, 2012 at 10:19 pm

LOL @ Celeste. Did she mean to write isn’t?

I like the show! It’ll be interesting to hear some of her story! 5 kids- wow!! Keenan and damon both divorce their first wives, and mother of their
Kids… Hate to see families break up. But we never know what is going on inside the home

    This should be interesting.
