BEYONCE’S STYLIST TALKS ABOUT HIDING THE SINGER’S PREGNANCY WITH BAGGY SLACKS
Beyonce is recognized as a fashionable performer who always wears the most trendy pieces on and off stage. The singer received much attention for wearing extremely high heels while pregnant with Blue Ivy, and continues to be one who shows off her curves on the red carpet. So who’s behind the singer’s fashion magic? That would be stylist Raquel Smith.
When asked about the challenging task of hiding Beyonce’s pregnancy until the R&B singer was ready to reveal the good news Smith said, “At first it was very tricky because we were trying to keep it a secret, but we just found beautiful blouses and baggy slacks, loafers, some mid-heels, to not really show what was going on but keep her trendy and stylish.”
Now that Blue is here, Raquel and her team hope to prove that motherhood does not ruin a woman’s figure by showing off Bey’s curves. “We are focusing on more figured looks for her to show off her silhouette after she had the baby—we’re just trying to show off her body,” said the stylist. “If it’s for a red carpet event, we just try to go for something that shows off her body, we try to show her waistline, show she’s still sexy. I know a lot of people think after you have a baby you just lose your figure, but that’s just not the case.”

What 30 year woman hides a pregnancy under baggy clothes? Maybe one that didn’t want the world to know about it before she could announce herself, but that’s just my guess. Also let’s see…her stylist was asked a question about her pregnancy fashion by a fashion site during fashion week and answered, I don’t see the problem with that. Yeah, maybe BCK could’ve skip out on making it a post but they did, and it’s no big deal. After all, nobody had to read it and comment.
This entire press release is ridiculous and smells of desperation for attention/media bites either from the Beyonce camp or her stylists. The way Bey look some days I wonder if she has stylists or if the clothes just fall out of the closet on to her body.
And, why is she “showing off” her body? Doesnt she have enough pressure maintaining a family and career? Just be yourself and enjoy your life. Judging by your family genes and body, there is little need to worry about too much weight piling on. So, relax, enjoy your baby and live in the moment. There is no need to show off on any level.
Thats because she was never pregnant smh. Who belly folds while their 6 months pregnant. Mines never did that smh im srry but this is soooo irrelevant !

I think she kept it secret because of her previous miscarriage.
She didn’t announce it, she didn’t want paparazzi swarming her like they did after the reveal, while Blue was at those critical developing stages.

LOL It makes it all look strange to me when you keep talking about something like this… and also Beyonce is not exaclty skinny … she is curvy so I highly doubt anyone would be able to tell right away if she was preggers… especially if it was a girl… as girl’s tend to show in the hips and butt first … which she has naturally

Why would someone in there thirties and married would want to hide a pregnancy with baggy clothes. This type of joy is that every woman would want to embrace private and public. Raquel Smith who cares at this point the whole 9 mos was very weird and suspicious. I’m just saying!!!!!
Please tell me why this is being said now. Who does not know how to hide a pregnancy with baggy clothes? Teenagers do it all the time. Why is this relevant now?! I swear they are trying to keep the whether or not she was pregnant issue going. Blue Ivy is 8 months old already..sheesh.
