HALLE DOESN’T WANT NAHLA ‘FEELING SPECIAL’ BECAUSE OF PAPARAZZI
Halle Berry wants to raise a child who is comfortable in her own skin. The actress recently told In Style magazine that she plans to move out of the country so that Nahla,4, can develop into a young lady who is self-conscious and confident.
“It’s the appeal of privacy and a greater sense of safety for Nahla. I don’t want her to grow up around the tabloids. Because we are followed all the time, she is starting to feel like she is somehow special, and of course she is, but I want her to understand that she’s special because of who she is, not because she was born into this celebrity blender,” said the actress.
Berry also told the media that she and fiance Oliver Martinez make a wonderful pair. “He’s silly, a clown, and very much the life of the party, which is good for someone like me.”
Halle and Oliver confirmed their engagement in March of this year. The two were recently spotted looking for housing in Malibu, California after taking Nahla to the pumpkin patch in Simi Valley. Nahla is Halle and ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry’s only child together.

Hmm, her house hunting in Malibu could mean she’s looking for a home there where they could live in seclusion. I see why a lot of celebs live on ranches in the middle of nowhere now.
Hi Halle i am one of your fan.You do have a special littly Princess on your hand.What do you expect form parents like You and your Ex. It is very hard being in the spotlight.I hope your sweety will play it off.
So, move to one of the forty-eight other states in the country. Southern California & New York City seem to be the only places where paps congregate like flies, so move out & set up shop in another state or Northern California. I honestly don’t even remember what A-listers like Julia Roberts, Denzel Washington, Harrison Ford, etc’s kids look like since they live away from the paps centers & we almost never see them. If people like them can hide their kids, then so can Halle. And she doesn’t need to move to France (or Paris, which is France’s paps center) to do it.
Even Johnny Depp had to live in the middle of nowhere in the south of France to get away from the paps over there. We’re not the only country with them.
I agree. the paps are aggressive, but if folks like us didnt have websites to visit than we would be reading the rags/magazines. Everyone is getting something from the photos paps take; whether its to innocently observe and go about your life or buy magazines its not going to stop. It is sad but its the price of fame.
On the flip side though…there are plenty of high profile celebs who live quiet lives and
who’s kids are not out there. Because like someone said above there is so much drama following her even if she goes to japan the paps will get their pics.

I think she is a beautiful combination of them both.
I could understand why a parent wouldn’t want their children to be harassed by the paps, but isn’t that was comes along with being a celebrity parent? It’s wrong, but people should understand that paps come with fame. It just sad the children have to suffer.

How come other celebrities don’t have as many problems raising kids in the spotlight?
They are celebs that’s where the similarities began and stop, they all have different opinions about paps. I kind of think its Halle’s maternal instincts that are kicking in when they are around her child she only complains about them when they snap pics of her child.
B.c other celebs don’t have scandal or any juicy stuff behind their name. if halle was still in a relationship w/ Gabe & didn’t have the whole custody thing going on, the paps wouldn’t be stalking her & her child.
Nahla’s face is like “them again?!” haha The paps need to fall back a little bit. Halle is off of work, she shouldn’t have to still be followed on her off time. That’s like if your boss, co-workers just popped up at your house on your day off lol.

I thought the same thing but the judge has not ruled yet. Read somewhere it should be sometime this week. Maybe Halle is having a change of heart or she feels she’s going to lose the case. Gabe should be able to be with his daughter whenever he wants. Having her father on a daily basis will benefit Nahla so much as she grows. I hope she doesn’t win her case, but if she does, I hope Gabe moves there too.
The look on Nahla’s face says it all. For a 4yr old to give a persont aking her pic that look should be a major flag to that person. Leave that child alone. What gets me is how they call their name, as it they are familiar with one another. That in itself would cause me to flip.

I agree with you I think it’s disrespectful for the Papz to always be talking photos and practically stalking the children if men with camera was constantly following non celeb kids around the police would be called immediately no questions . celeb kids deserve a life where there constantly not under surveillance critising there every decision. But on the other hand its a double edge sword because when the parents want to promote one of there products there all open to press even if it means exposing there children. I say follow the parents who choose that lifestyle rather than the children.
Nahla is a pretty girl. I think celebritites deserve some sort of privacy. I think paps can be a little too intrusive. I enjoy the pics but I think there should be some kind of restrictions.
I agree with you as well I think it’s appropriate at a awards event, or something related to her job specifically. But I think they are way past out of control, and there need to be some new laws made especailly to protect there kids.
I agree once again, I think there should be some sort of distance law set in order between celebs & the paps. After all they do have zoom lenses for their camera’s, they don’t have to or need to be all in their face with the camera’s. It’s a wonder many of the kids don’t get frightend at all the pandemonium around them.
