LA LA GIVES HER TWO CENTS ON BEING A STAGE MOM
La La Anthony doesn’t force her 5-year-old son to do anything he doesn’t want to do. The television personality and reality star recently took to her blog to address criticism surrounding her son’s presence on Full Court Life that questioned his desire to be featured on the show.
“Kiyan’s feelings matter to me more than anything else. If he ever told me that he didn’t want to be on TV anymore, that would be it,” said the reality star.
La La also discussed the hardships of raising a child in the spotlight saying, “Wherever we go these days, there are cameras capturing our every move. But while I can’t shield Kiyan from the paparazzi unless I want to keep him cooped up inside all day, on Full Court Life I can make sure things are on our terms,” said the television personality.
Full Court Life features La La and Kiyan together on several occasions. In one episode, the two are at the beach playing in the water and searching for treasure in the sand. Kiyan is La La and Carmelo Anthony’s first child together.

That second picture is adorable.
I really respect the way La La is raising her son when it comes to her show. I have seen her tell them to turn the cameras off when her son doesn’t want to be filmed or when she is having a private conversation with her husband. I really respect what she is doing as a mother and wife to protect her family.
Me too. People always find something to criticize. They think because people are in the spotlight that they can tell them how to raise their children. She is one person I commend for the way she cares for her son on tv.
He has 2 famous parents so he is always going to be in the spotlight, but LaLa handes that very well. People are always trying to tell someone how to parent their children.smh!!
It’s her kid. People should worry about their own. How can watching a tv show tell you whether a 5 year old is happy, he’s five he can be happy one second and anooyed the next. Anyway I think kiyan is super cute.
He is such a cutie. and why do other people worry about wow her child is adjusting to cameras being around. Im sure thats her job. and in the first season, Kiyan got tired of the cameras and they were gone. Because LaLa made them leave. People are so concerned with business thats not theirs. mind your own.
