DEMARCUS WARE’S SWEETHEARTS SHARE THE LOVE
DeMarcus Ware’s little ones are growing up fast. The NFL player’s son DeMarcus Jr. and daughter Marley were recently captured in the cutest Kodak moment in which DeMarcus looked into the eye of the camera while Marley kissed him on the cheek. It seems like just yesterday that DeMarcus Sr. and wife Taniqua were adopting Marley and welcoming DeMarcus Jr. into the world.

Ware recently gushed about his kids during a sports interview, reflecting on the trials that he and Taniqua endured when trying to have kids in 2006. “With the trials we’ve been through, and having the opportunity to adopt our little daughter, Marley — she’s our big blessing, and she’s four years old now,” said DeMarcus. “She’s really taken over the house. We were finally able to have a son, DeMarcus, Jr., and it’s been great. Fatherhood is always about responsibility — you’re just trying to teach them the great morals of life, and that’s just putting Christ first, and being a good person.”
DeMarcus added, “I think that’s really the true value — you get out there, and you work hard, but at the end of the day, does that really matter? I mean, what’s important? The most important thing is your kids — taking care of the and leaving that legacy. If you have a bad day at work, you get home and you hear, ‘Daddy.’ They’re smiling that innocent smile, and everything else goes to the wayside.”

Adorable kids! I find it kind of amusing that Marley’s hair is a mess in the picture, but there hasn’t been one comment about her wearing it natural and free. If she had DeMarcus’ hair and wore it like he is, we would hear about how it’s time to fix it up.
@Mindfulness I think that was the intention…the whole vintage black and white photo with the flowy white dress I love the tousled hair in a loose pony tail it really fits the feel of the picture.
I agree…this was intentional for the photo. Marley always has her hair done well, from the pictures I’ve seen.

I agree that the messiness is supposed to look tousled, If I was obsessed with straight hair, I could comment on how tangled and unbrushed it looks. But I’m not. It’s a child.
Yet, I have seen people post about how nice Leni’s hair is kept when it’s actually messy. And little black girls aren’t given the same leeway. And yes, I do understand how important the hair issue is for African American girls.
I can’t get over how long Marley’s hair have grown in such a short time, my goodness. Have never seen a child’s hair grow so fast, not even Ming Lee. They are so cute, kissing her baby brother, priceless.
