LL COOL J MAKES TIME FOR FAMILY
LL Cool J is a family man in its greatest form. The rapper and actor recently performed for the United States Marines in South Carolina after stopping by his daughter’s school to lend support for her athletic efforts.
“They had a football game and this was her first time cheer leading. So I was on the sidelines like every other dad. Taking pictures and doing all of that. I just try to carve out time for my family and make sure that I’m there for them, and I would encourage all the guys out there to do that,” said LL. “I try to prioritize,” added the rapper.
Mr. Cool J was honored to do a show for the Marines, expressing nothing but gratitude for those who serve the country during his segment with Entertainment Tonight. “I just thought to myself that they do so much for our country. These marines go all over the world; they put themselves in harm’s way first a lot of the time. They actually live the lives of heroes. Anyone who wakes up in the morning and part of their daily job description is ‘Put your life on the line,’ you have to respect that and recognize that,” explained the rapper.
LL Cool J and wife Simone have four children-Najee, Italia, Samaria, and Nina-together.

The daughter in the white dress is gorgeous!
It’s nice to see Najee.
Najee and Nina are LL, Italia is Simone and Samaria is LL and Simone. Beautiful family of 6!
Love how you know everyone’s names, no matter which celebrity.
I’m always interested in what people name their children no matter who they are.
My friends will say oh “so and so”, from school, had a baby boy and most of my other friends won’t really care and say “oh, cool” or “oh, nice” and I’ll say “what’s his name?” lol
OMG! I replied with a smiley face & it’s awaiting moderation. Admin says it’s words that creates holds, however I didn’t say any words. SMH.
Still being monitored, eh Sherely…:P
I like Najee’s name. I always wondered if he was named for the jazz flautist “Najee”. I know he is also from NYC. His greatest album came out the same year I was born and is one of my favorites.
