THE DEANS FRONT-AND-CENTER AT KNICKS GAME
Despite storm, the Deans catch a game of basketball. Alicia Keys and hubby Swizz Beatz recently showed their support for the New York ‘Knicks,’ who beat the Miami ‘Heat’ 104-84, court side with kids Egypt,2, and Kasseem Jr.,5. Alicia looked stylish in her leather outfit while Egypt rocked a cool pair of Adidas kicks.
Keys recently spoke with Essence about her experience of losing power and evacuating during Hurricane Sandy. “Losing power was interesting, especially when you have to entertain a little boy. But it was cool — he’s so imaginative so it all worked out. I was fortunate because my mother’s place didn’t lose power so we were able to take shelter with her.”
In being one of the fortunate ones, Alicia has resolved to help victims of the hurricane in any way possible. “My heart really goes out to all the people out there going through crazy circumstances that they never imagined. I really feel for people and am reaching out in any way I can,” said the singer.
Egypt is Swizz and Alicia’s first child together.

Thank God her baby didn’t get Swizz beats huge nose lol!Egypt is so cute and so is Kaseem.Kaseem is always dressed way better, when he’s with his dad than when he’s with his mom.
Cute kiddies
My baby Egypt.
I can’t get enough of seeing him. Kaseem is too cute. Love the family picture of them.
Swizz and Alicia are family oriented. The children are happy and Alicia and Swizz are happy.
If you notice either Alicia’s brother and/or her mother-in-law are always with her when she travels. Swizz meets up with her as she travels. They are all about their entire family.
This girl is on fire…with her good looking family. Apparently, the storm didn’t hit them too hard and that’s good for them. Still praying for everyone else less fortunate.
He’s so handsome! Love me some Egypt!
They are just glowing. It’s so beautiful.
They are a fashionable family! Look at the cheeks on Egypt!!!
Nice family. I think it’s cool how Mashonda allows Kasseem to spend alot of time with Alicia (of course she should, it’s his step mother, but still a woman who faced what she faced normally doesn’t do that so willingly). I don’t see the Swizz’s daughter as much though
Maybe her(Nicole’s) mom aint havin’ it right now…….
Nicole lives in England with her mother Jahna, who is raising her and Swizz visits Nicole in London, when he brings his family members. Jahna and Nicole are refugees and can’t easily travel to US until they have appropriate visas to enter US. Nicole has never been to US. Alicia plays no role in Nicole’s life and never had.
That’s what I thought.
Refugees? Even though Jahna is Russian/British, both Jahna & Nicole have UK (British) citizenship, and as such, British citizens can enter the United States without a visa under the Visa Waiver Program. Also as the daughter of an American citizen, as soon as the dad registered himself as the dad with the embassy, Nicole would be entitled to American citizenship.
Both of my parents hold dual citizenship with my mum holding US/UK. I currently go to school in the UK (Oxford, London) and traveling back and forth to the colonies is as easy as getting on a bus.
@Oxford you use the words UK,British and London arent they the same as England?
@GNOSTIC the UK (United Kingdom) is made up of four countries; North Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales (actually 3.5, South Ireland broke off and is not included). London is a city in England, and there are suburbs like Oxford, where I go to school. British is what you are if you are from England, like Scottish or Irish is what you are if you are from Scotland or Ireland. I have no idea what people from Wales are called.
Think of it like, North America is made up of two countries Canada and The United States of America. Atlanta is a city in the State of Georgia, then there are suburbs of Atlanta like Buckhead, Dunwoody or Alpharetta (Alpharetta is split in two counties, North Fulton and Forsyth).
I used Atlanta since in a previous post you said you were from there, and I was born and still partially live there. Hope this explanation helps.
@ Oxford – people from Wales are Welsh.
@Sian, thank you. I totally drew a blank when it came to Wales.
I’m sure Alicia has a role in Nicole’s life like she has a role in the 2 older boys life. & wasn’t it Alicia that encouraged Swizz to get the DNA test for Nicole & went w/ him to England?
Nicole Dean is a frequent visitor the the US. While BCK has posted pictures of her in the US (New York), with her brothers, they have never posted a picture with Alicia Keys in it.
It was a long time before we saw pictures of Chance and her sisters, but that does not mean they didn’t have a relationship. It is impossible to be married to a person who has outside children and not interact with that child. My son’s step-mother locks herself in her room each time my son goes over. She doesn’t even want my son to interact with her son, but they interact with one another, regardless.
If Mashonda didn’t want her son around Alicia then that means her son wouldn’t be around his father. Alicia & Swizz are married, have a son together (Kasseem’s baby brother), & are always together. It would be impossible for her to say she doesn’t want Alicia around her child. Kasseem isn’t just w/ Alicia, he’s w/ his family (just missing Prince)….& Nicole is in the UK, the mom is probably not comfortable sending her out the country yet, & she probably don’t have papers yet. Hopefully she’ll join them soon tho
AWWWE Egypt and Kasseem! They look so much alike.
I love the first picture, happy family.
Nice to see Alicia’s brother Cole was there, too.
