ALICIA KEYS SAYS SON ‘HAS A STARK SENSE OF RHYTHM’
Egypt Dean may be the next great musician with the help of his mom, Alicia Keys, and dad, Swizz Beatz. Alicia recently revealed that her tot plays both the piano and drums at just 2-years-old.
“He plays [the piano],” said Keys. “Egypt has a stark sense of rhythm. He also plays the drums already. He likes that most. The kid’s making noise all day long. He’s adorable. Soon Egypt will come on tour with me, and then he’ll get a taste of that world.”
Although thrilled to have a son taking interest in music, Alicia is not planning to push Egypt into the industry if he later decides to pursue other career paths. “I want him to do everything he does with passion, whatever that may be,” said the singer.
Keys’ newest album, ‘Girl On Fire,’ will be released on November 27, 2012. She will go on tour in 2013.

It is a mommie thing. We see amazing gifts in our babies every move and utterance (smille). It is all good! He will of course have skills – his mom and dad in music, he has big brothers to emulate, and the best training that money can buy. Look out world for little Egypt!

It looks like he’s really breaking down dancing lol…I’m sure he’s good w/ instruments & playing w/ Rhythms. When your mom plays the piano all the time & you dad is a producer & makes beats all the time, he’s probably around it a lot & picking up a lil something something lol. It probably sounds horrible to us, but amazing to him. There’s a little boy on youtube called KJ the 4 yr old producer, & makes really good beats. BCK you guys should feature him on here!
