Amarachi Uyanne not only danced her way into the hearts of Nigerians everywhere, but she also danced her way right into becoming a millionaire.

The elementary school age girl was announced the winner of the first season of “Nigeria’s Got Talent.” For winning the competition, she was presented with a check for 10 million naira, which makes her the youngest non-inheritor millionaire in Nigeria. Her dancing, smile and likable personality helped the young star become a favorite among fans.

Amarachi had doubts throughout the competition, but now that she’s won, she  has humble plans for her money. She said, “I am happy that I won. At first I was afraid and thought I would lose, but thank God I won in the end. I want to help orphans with the money, and also for the education of my two siblings as well as mine.”
