WILLOW SMITH DROPS NEW MUSIC (LISTEN)

Twelve-year-old Willow Smith recently released her new song, “Sugar and Spice.” The young starlet posted the newly released track to her Soundcloud.

Before posting the song, Willow wrote a message on her Facebook account, letting fans know that she would be dropping new music soon. She said, “this is my soundcloud. I will be dropping a song in about 10 minutes.”

In the past few months, Willow has teamed up with Jay-Z for the movie version of the musical classic “Annie” and is said to be in talks with author/producer James Patterson for upcoming projects.

I think it’s a beautiful song. Attacking her critics but in music. It’s beautiful. Never will understand mostly Black grown folks hating on this cutie? Is it because you weren’t given that kind of freedom as a child or black children aren’t “supposed” to act like her? Specifically girls? That’s how I see it. I always knew Willow had talent you could see it from WMH. Please take notes to this other little girl singers lol(no names) but Willow is clearing blowing them out the water and some adults! Good job kiddo

I agree whole heartedly. She’s a lot like Jada. Listening to Jada sing when she was with Wicked Wisdom to the song she did in Spanish for the Don’t Sell Bodies campaign. Deep! Even what Jada posts on FB, is just beautiful. Love the Smiths. I admire them as a family unit.

Willow is deep. Spiritually deep, lyrically deep, her soul is deep and her vision is deep. She has an old soul. Her choice of words. She’s talented beyond measure and beautiful to boot. Smart girl. Love her.

IDK about Willow being deep, spiritually or lyrically, but she is beautiful & I love me some Willow, especially her attitude.

I know about her being deep. Trust. Through her Photography, to her ballet, to her music and to the stuff she used to post on Instagram. She’s a deep spirit. Willow can spit a deep line off the top of her head. That’s a gift.

I’ll have to take your word for it. I personally, do not based ‘deepness’ off pictures people post nor the things they say, I base it off knowing them personally. I have a few Facebook friends who people think they are deep based on the words their status, but one is in a loony bin and another uses photo shop software to post her pictures.

As for Willow, I love her & her attitude towards the public, but I cannot begin to tell you how deep of a person she truly is based off that. *shrug*

I agree, but we can definitely say she SEEMS really deep, ’cause we don’t know her personally…I too adore Willow.

            True, Evelina.

As a counselor by profession, I’m trying not to look too deep into this song. But on the surface, the song breaks my heart. It’s a beautiful ballad, as Willow put it, a “meloncholy” message, and a lot for a 12 year old to have on her heart. I pray that if this is Willow’s cry for help, her parents are listening.

i feel the same. this song sounds like a cry for help. i love willow but this is far from i whip my hair. that’s the willow we love.this song is very nice but depressing for a teen to be singing
