YOUNG STARS NAMED AS RISING GAME CHANGERS
Amandla Stenberg, China McClain and Quvenzhane Wallis were among the rising stars named in Ebony Magazine’s “Young, Gifted and Black” game changers.
The December 2012/January 2013 edition selected the up and coming talents based on their drive, skill and accomplishments. Amandla’s heartfelt performance as Rue in the “Hunger Games” helped her get noticed, while China’s comedic lead role as Chyna on Disney’s “A.N.T. Farm” landed her the spot. Quvenzhane’s award-winning performance as Hushpuppy in “Beasts of the Southern Wild” sealed her place on Ebony‘s list.
