CORY AND CREE ARE TWO PEAS IN A POD
Cory Hardrict and Cree,1, are inseparable. The two explore the world of fantasy through books as mom, Tia Mowry-Hardrict, snaps an adorable Kodak moment between father and son.
Tia loves to see her son and husband spend quality time together as the actress blogs, “The only thing that I like more than spending time with Cree is watching him spend quality time with his Daddy. The two of them are like two peas in a pod. They even like to dress the same sometimes. Cree loves it when Cory reads to him.”
Although reading to a 1-year-old may not seem like an essential activity, Tia believes that such pastime contributes to her son’s growth. “We started reading to [Cree] at a really young age, and it’s become one of his favorite pastimes,” says the actress. “He loves looking at the pictures, and sometimes will even try to sound out the words. It might seem ridiculous to read to a really young baby, but I’m a firm believer that it makes all the difference – even if they can’t understand you, you’re introducing a love of books to them at a young age that may influence them later on.”
Cree is Tia and Cory’s first child together.

Love this family! Cree is the cutest! Both my kids were reading at 4. Once they know the alphabet sounds, its pretty easy.

I learned to read and write before I started school (thanks to my mother) and I taught my slightly younger sister how. I’ve been teaching ever since.
@Celeste, kudos to you for going into teaching. I think teachers, worldwide, should have better salaries and garner more respect for the job they do.
I don’t think I could be a teacher, at 14 I’m still figuring out my way in life but I don’t think I have the patience required to do the job correctly.
I was home schooled until I was ten with my mum being my first teacher, by three I was reading (I never stopped, I read EVERYTHING. even things I shouldn’t
), by five I was doing it in several languages.
People underestimate the importance of reading to child or think that they don’t have enough time. My dad used to read the JAMA (The Journal of the American Medical Association) aloud to me. He was able to do two things at same time, reading the journals for updates and spending time with me. Its now I really appreciate the time he took out of his very busy days (he is a Cardiothoracic Transplant Surgeon, plus he is doubled boarded in General Surgery; emergency ie, Trauma and Cardiology) to spend with me and he does the same with my little brothers. With two sets of twins he had to start reading online since he couldn’t read the hard copies with two lap babies.
Again, I really appreciate you and all the other teachers out there, I wouldn’t be where I am; at the University of Oxford without teachers like you who go into teaching for the love of it and teachers like my mum & dad who are professionals but take time out to become teachers to their kids.

Tamera is MY favourite twin lol!
Tia seemed a bit too selfish is their show Tia & Tamera.
I get she was pregnant (and i know all about it having 2 kids myself) she was tired and stuff but it seemed that all she cared about was her and Tamera is the total opposite.
But i will give her credit for showing up to Tamera’s bridal shower because i know that meant a lot to her!
