Tami Roman was on a weight loss mission for several months thanks to her teen daughters. The actress and reality star recently sat down with Tania to talk about her journey to healthiness that involved a dietary supplement and a little inspiration from daughters Jazz,16, and Lyric,18.

“They were a big part of it,” said Tami to Tania. “They weren’t use to seeing their mom be about 190lbs, and I’m tall so I wear it well. But they were like, ‘Mom you have got to get it together, this is not cute. You’re about to do a new show and you need to represent.’ So I was inspired to just do something.”

Even though the journey was well worth it, Roman admitted that it wasn’t all easy. “I’m a foodie, so even when I make up my mind [to lose weight] I’m still eating thirty meals a day,” explained the star. “I can eat salad, but I’m going to eat thirty of them. So I started taking NV (dietary supplement), and it suppressed my appetite. It actually has a weight loss complex that kind of reshapes your body. So more importantly than losing pounds, I lost inches.”
